  1. Yes!!! My #1 Fall producer exactly what you described. It gets smashed White grub on an under spin is a staple for me in the spring and fall.
  2. Nice Yak. I love my Native
  3. Tom, I was using a Kastmaster the other weekend while targeting stripers. The stock lure didn’t have a split ring and I had no other hardware attached. Just tied a Palomar Knot directly. I couldn’t get that wide, wobbling action that draws far more strikes now that I look back on my experience with using spoons attached to hardware
  4. The spoon I purchased over the weekend did not include a split ring.
  5. Do you guys tie these on directly using a Palomar or improved Clinch? They do not come equipped with a split ring, so should I add one to impart more action? Or use a snap? Or use a loop or Rapala knot?
  6. Mine too! Caught my PB on one (avatar)
  7. White Chatterbait with a Pearl White Super Fluke Jr trailer and a Livetarget Baitball Series Threadfin Square Bill. Walking down the banks fishing them aggressively
  8. Thank you. Just signed up myself
  9. Pink Trick Worm. Guess the fish I target don’t do drag ?
  10. Huge fan of the Owner Flashy Swimmers as well!
  11. Solid review! Great read
  12. @Buffdaddy54 I encourage you to learn how to fish the tube and learn to fish it well because I can not think of a better bed fishing bait. The 3.5” Gitzit tourney tube in brown craw/S&P is one of the best clear water baits for the waters I fish. Old faithful
  13. Jitterbug at night. When it’s pitch dark your senses are heightened already and I’ll never become immune to the sheer fright of a topwater explosion interrupting that chug, chug, chug .... pause.....CRASH! My heart skips beats every single time! I get chills just thinking about it
  14. Thanks for sharing. Really enjoyed that
  15. Ned rig is killer at night!
  16. @Team9nine Very nice!!
  17. @JustJames I’ve tried wacky rigged senkos countless nights and I just can’t seem to enjoy it since I can’t line watch. Same with a weightless Fluke...... I feel like I miss so many bites since I purposely keep my headlight off to avoid spooking them from the bank.
  18. Brookies are some of the most overlooked best tasting freshwater fish out there IMO. Cool report!
  19. I might use that quote, unless you copyright it of course ?
  20. Black and silver Mister Twister Sassy Shad. They are incredibly durable and appeal to multi-species. They must be the early pioneer to finesse swimbaits
  21. I wish I had your patience. Seriously. I’m working on it
  22. I’m in the exact same camp as @P.A.L. in terms of using the FG knot to join 10# braid with a very long leader. You will know if you failed tying in the process of cinching your tag ends. It creates a very tight cocoon shaped knot that seamlessly flies through the guides When tied correctly, FG resembles a Chinese finger trap effect. Treats me well with finesse situations (which I’m in about 90% of the time). I respect the bass fishermen who fish successfully with straight braid. However, me personally, I think the subject is very debatable. I’ve fished in some of the most highly pressured urban ponds in the Southwest and it’s extremely difficult to catch fish off straight braid using finesse techniques. Using a leader of 6# or 8# copolymer or fluoro can make such a significant difference where I fish. I’ve experimented with this for the past 3 years. There’s a gent from NoColorado who produced a YouTube series on how line size and line type affects bass fishing. I found it very compelling and he might even be a BR member?
