I've been messing with the Neko rig lately. I haven't yet decided if I like it more than wacky.

Zoom U-Tale in gourd green and watermelon/red. Old school and work ‘every time’.

A hair jig. Sometimes I'll even suspend them under a float and if it's a really tough bite, I'll add a minnow.

Drop shot and Split shot rigged Roboworm 4.5's, various colors. Long time favorite finesse set up. Have fished the "fat" version more as of lately (last few years). But still use many original version.

Not quite sure what finesse is.  Is it a bait or technique?  Trying shakey head with Zoom finess worms and swamp crawlers.  New to me. Had pretty good luck with Luck E Strike hook tail worms in 4 to 5 inch on down sized t rig, or swamp crawlers.

Weightless fluke. Fished agonizingly slow.

When you say you fish it slow are you hopping/dragging and pausing it along the bottom slow. Or are you swimming it through the middle/top of the water column slowly?

Finesse is a technique, it’s presenting bass with small, light baits, like weightless plastics, shakey head, small jigs, beetle spins..

I'm not quite sure what it is either but I've been river fishing for smallies that way long before it was called finesse. I agree with Tyler's thoughts on it.
