well dang that is awesome. had me going for a minute.

i am kinda cheap so i go with 30lbs braid and a 15 to 30 lbs floro leader at about 2 to 4 ft. i will use a med hvy rod 6'8''. i love my jigs. in the channels i will toss one let if slow sink and walk it though about 30 ft and bring back. have to stay in the bumps and trash thou.

i have a penn that is so small i don't remember the number. put braid 30 lbs on it and it will fly. i love that little reel. i have had people laugh at it but when i pull a fatty in and they are like I don't understand..... that little thing. i use braid for majority of my reels. i use a floro leader if i need be for jerk baits and a slow fall.

i have three in the top 25 today. but i think it goes to top 15 witch means just christie.

so true. i was starting to get into the B.A.S.S thing and watching. i thought evers was getting shafted but those fish. but it always has ups and downs.

so true i am not a wheeler kinda person but he does amp up

so this year i am going to try and slow things down a bit and use some walking baits and poppers. i have been fishing fast with crank baits and buzzbaits even my bottom fishing is faster and i think i am missing the FATTIES.
