after i got out of the army in 2010. i lived in florida for a year and fished there almost everyday. then after my devoice i moved back home to Arkansas. i was fishing and then one day i packed my car and drove to north dakota for a month worth of fishing. 900 miles.

i have to go to a OIF OEF group today but thursday i take my wife out and friday.......BAM IT IS ON!!!!!

ok i have to put in my $2. i will use a c-rig with 20 lbs floro and a 2 ft floro leader mostly. but if in a touchy situation against banks and roots. i will switch to a MH braid flipping rod, and a 1 ft leader. bait wise i like to use anything from grubs to brush hogs and the wacky worm. if you use a wacky weedless you can get it in and around some junk and bounce it off the crap and get a reaction bite.

i grew up with ryan and he has fished tournaments since 12. him and Dustin Lippe are killer together but if you put them in separate boats it is a small town race to win.

I f your fishing in colder water the big profile with the living rubber will give them more bag for the buck per say. Thing is in colder water and slow fish you want that lighter jig. Such as a 5/16 or 3/8 oz. Personally after water temp gets below 55 deg i will go from a 1/2 to a 5/16 oz and match color to the weather.

It is getting closer to that time where we are biting nails at the scales. lol last year I missed the first two tournaments and was behind only a few hundred. This year I am hoping and keeping my fingers crossed.

i have Montgomery and Lucas so ill see what happens tomorrow i joined the group and i made 11th so far. i am stoked
