  1. good to see you here in a positive atmosphere. you can for sure learn a lot.
  2. pick one method and work it till you are good or comfortable with it. IE drop shotting or jerk baits. when you get comfortable with that then go to another.
  3. Bassmaster Clausen stores some of his tackle in the loft of a close friend's shop. He went to get some gear he planned to use at Kentucky Lake. "Next thing I know I'm waking up on the shop floor," he said. "I don't know if I was laying there for 30 seconds or 30 minutes. I don't really remember how it happened."
  4. lews or daiwa cant go wrong with either. daiwa has a magna that has the extra wide spooler that is great for light weight stuff

  9. i do a t rig with a 5/16 oz worm weight. i will drag it slow and if i bump i stop and wait to the count of 3 one thousand and continue on. if i am in a current ill go a little heavier but just enough to keep bottom contact.
  10. i would also have to agree with the texas rigged senko. but i use white or yellow on a cloudy day or a stained water and red or brown and watermelon if it is sunny and clearish water
  11. i use 30lbs braid and like everyone else has said floro is a no go for my frogs. i have tried other things and it just does not work like straight braid. when that frog is out there the fish does not care about the braid.

  13. so i was thinking can a person put most of their eggs in one basket. where do you buy or get most of your gear from? e.i i bought 3 jerkbaits from academy and then i went to tackle warehouse and got weights and some jigs and 2 rods. then bass pro had a sale so bait monkey got me there too.
