  1. Ned rig, whopper plopper, a-rig, Tokyo rig, swimbaits of any kind, spybaiting, hair jigs, spoons, blade baits, damiki rig,
  2. Tungsten and other terminal tackle
  3. Line capacity isn't an issue for pitching and frogging in my opinion. The farthest ill throw a frog is around 30 yards. Anything past that I struggle seeing the frog and the hooksets get tougher. I like 50 or 65lb daiwa j-braid x4 for pitching and frogging. I use fluoro from 16-22lb for pitching and jigs. 1/4 up to 3/4.
  4. Placement of the eye, head shape, and "belly" of the jighead is most importsnt to me. But I do prefer Horizantal most of the time unless its a swim jig.
  5. User error. Do you have backing underneath your braid? May be the braid slipping on your spool that is your "faulty drag". Dobyns fast is closer to a moderate fast so in my opinion I dont believe that you need a rod with more flex to it. i use my 735's for frogging and pitching and have a phenomenal hook up ratio. Using both 50lb braid and 20lb fluorocarbon or copolymer.
  6. I always try to fish for 3 big ones and 3 that measure 17.75". Our tourney has a slot limit and only 3 can be over 18"
  7. I like using a spinnerbait or chatterbait then using a jig of some sort that I can pitch, swim, hop, or drag. Terminator pro series jig is one of my go to's for this technique
  8. Moms boyfriend and I were supposed to hit turtle creek Sunday, but my sick kids said other wise. He went Saturday tobsome old strip pits in pike county amd caught some plus this big one Believe that is a 6th sense movement 80x
  9. Chicken rigging a 12" ribbon tail worm.
  10. Jig&craw
  11. 4x jungle hook Berkley fusion
  12. Although I havent fished the exprides, my non pitching jig rod is a 7'5 medium heavy. I really enjoy it. For pitching jigs I like a more powerful rod. I also use the 7'5 for Carolina rigs.
  13. In the wise words of Andrew Flair "you dont own the water bro!"
  14. I love preparation. Always have. Just like you mentioned laying out your jersey before a big game, or getting your combos and tackle ready to hit the water.
  15. Texas rig a 4" stick bait or 5" finesse worm with an 1/8th or 1/16th ounce weight and SLOWLY hop it around.
  16. Ott, Christie, j-lee, Jacob wheeler, and Edwin evers would be who I was betting on.
  17. Id go with a 7'6 medium heavy musky rod. Can get a fairly inexpensive one from bps. Reels I'd go with a round reel like a cardiff or calcutta, or an inshore, or 300 sized baitcaster with 65lb braid.
  18. Im jacked up as well.
  19. Am I late to the party on this?
