  1. Nice fish. You gotta love those golf courses. I get spoiled by fishing them sometimes. I should make a golfball bait. A Titelist with hooks. HAHAHA
  2. Not dead yet brotha. Please, Please do not stop going for those lunkers. I appreciate your posts and respect your fishing manners. Nothing wrong at all for live baiting and I don't think any explanation of your sportsmanship is, or was, needed. Tight Lines my fellow backwoods redneck.
  3. Who's Bill Dance and why does he wear that silly orange hat?
  4. Cool. We can tell our stories of failure or success for the day. Perhaps have all posts in by midnight eastern time that way the western crew can fish the evening too.
  5. Just a suggestion but how about we have a Sunday fishing outing ever week for the entire forum. Kind of like a tournament but for bragging rites only. Use anything you like, artificial or live. Fish from sunrise to sundown and post your biggest catch only. I thought it would be kind of cool knowing we all were out fishing together even though we were in different areas of the country.

How about this "I love hunting and fishing" Simple.
  7. Here's a tip for ya. Stay OFF the darn telephone.
  8. It's a private shell pit that closed about 7 years ago.. It's spring fed too.
  9. Awesome catch bro. You keep setting the bar higher and higher.
  10. Fish them around grass, or any type of structure. Cast them out and let them settle to the bottom. Bounce or drag the worm across the bottom by lifting your rod tip, not by reeling. When rod tip gets to about 10:00 or 11:00 O'clock, then lower your rod tip and reel in the slack. Repeat until you get a bite/bump. Real in your slack and point the rod tip to the direction of the fish/bump and set the hook. There are many, many different techniques to using the worm but IMO that is the most basic. I use a 3/0-4/0 Tru-Turn hook on a 7.5 inch worm. I commonly use a 1/8 ounce worm weight but sometimes go lighter or heavier. Try and use as light of a weight as possible.
  11. One just opend here in Palm Beach a couple weeks ago. I wasn't impressed. Prices were no better than anywhere else. I asked the clerk behind the counter in the fishing section if they carried Yo-zuri fishing line. His reply was "Uh, I didn't know Yo-zuri made fishing line. Just lures."
  12. Only three colors I use in Culprit. Junebug, Redshad and Purple. Mostly the 7.5 inch ones. 10" at night but they are a bit thick. I just started back to Charlies Worms Junebug 8" on certain occasions.
  13. The Lake Osborne chain has been producing. Peacocks were also seen on the beds in the Palm Beach canal.
  14. Fordee and feeling it. Started wearing eye glasses last week. But I can still rock my wifes world. and a few others, NOT....
  15. Only time I worry about is if it's too cold to get out of bed or raining too hard to see.
  16. How could you have a lost interest in fishing for 2 months? Shame on you. Glad you came to your senses and are back. I missed your exotic fish posts.
  17. I did answer your question which shouldn't of even been asked by anyone with half a brain. If your one of those people who would hire an attorney based soley upon advertisement then you deserve to get screwed. If you feel so confident about proceeding without an attorney, especially if it goes to trial, then go ahead. I'm not an attorney nor do I care for a lot of them but there are times that you may have to have one. So instead of looking for some one to back up your ignorance, you too can go pound something and i'm not talking about your chest either. Good Day Sir.
  18. Chill out dude. I know where the park is at but never fished it. I viewed your post to see if anyone suggested as being good or bad. Besides, go fish regardless what someone tells you.
  19. No such thing a goo quality cheap rod.
  20. Headed out this evening with dad. I was using my U/L with #4 mono throwing senkos, tubes and jigs. 1/4 ounce jigs in 20 feet of water with grass, sunken trees and concrete slabs is no small task with #4 mono. I got a couple that put up a fair fight. section of the lake.
  21. How would the average person know if he was getting a good deal or lo balled w/out an attorney. If you settle for 100k then you'll probablly get 75-85k, depending how well you know your attorney. Goes to trial then he gets more but so do you usually, if you win. They also say that any man who represents himself has a fool for a client.
  22. I was a professional in the indusrtry. Don't think for a minute thet an insurance company is going to settle with you for more than an attorney could have gotten you. Do what you want.
  23. Dolphins fan. We need a whole team.
  24. Them A'holes was one of the reasons I sold my bass boat in 1992 for a 24' Aquasport. Now I'm back to my bass boat and I'm ready for battle. I don't really mind the jet fleas, Its just they tick me off when they violate the water laws and intentionally circle your boat.
  25. I've always heard heavier line gives better action to topwater plugs but I don't know. Just go fishing. Don't make the bass smarter than you. The most important thing to me is, is that my line is properly matched for my rod. I catch bass using 20 pound mono with a zara spook and unsing 8 pound mono with a rapala. make the rod, line, reel and plug match one another and you'll be ok.
