#1. Why do people find it necessary to put songs on their cell phone answering machine? This drives me absolutely mad. Not only does 99% of the music suck but most of the time you can't understand a word to the song. #2. Since when did car manufacturers start endorsing various gas companies? I just got a new work truck (F-150 xlt). I went to gas it up and noticed this written on the gas cap " Ford recommends using B/P gasoline." I know what B/P stands for but why would Ford make this recommendation?

wow thats cold!!!! i'm 41, born and raised in florida and i have never seen snow. actually it snowed here in 1977, but by noon it was 65 degrees. i don't know how you guys do it. Ditto. and I had to walk to school in it.

If the whole area I'm fishing is pretty much covered in grass then I will tighten the drag pretty snug but not hammered. (for some reason I think hammered is bad for my babies, Mental I guess).. If the area is only partial grass and partial open water then I will leave drag at normal and use my thumb against the spool to prevent line from coming out until I can pull the fish from cover. Once it's in open water then it can pull pull drag.

Some friends and I were at a resteraunt when some friend of my friends lit up at the table . I didn't know him and I wasn't done eating. Well, I stopped eating and put in a big 'ol chaw of tobacco and stared right at him and his date. I started spitting my juice in to a transparent cup and moving the tobacco around in my mouth like a piece of candy. His date had the balls to tell me chewing tobacco was gross and to stop doing it at the table. I laughed and kept it up.

Had to be a rookie. Shoulda let the guy pee before arresting him. Now he's going to pee in the backseat. YUK.

Thanks FivePound. Jason does pretty good with my camera. Unfortunately, I don't get much practice with it when he and I are fishing due to his lack of productivity. And yes Jason, I know that was a cheap shot but the opportunity presented itself and I couldn't resist.

Yea, I looked at it when you posted a while back. You catch all kinds of exotic fish.

Jason and I went to Lake Osborne this afternoon. We got to the ramp and this guy was occupying the slip. Jason hooks into one with his ultrlight using a 1/8oz jighead with a grub and breaks his "skunked streak" I got a couple drifting across the lake using a June Bud Culprit. another and another and another one just before quiting time. Jason caught about 6 using that grub. We also lost a couple good ones too.

Hate it when that happens...... Sorry about your loss. I have the 7' M/H legend tournament St.Croix in MINT condition if you want to buy it cheap. I'll put the $ towards another Loomis. I can bring it to the get together at Okeeheelee if you want to look at/use it.

I need a 2nd boat for T/M lakes only. My 10' jon is just too small for 2 6'2 adults and equipment. I found this 16' canoe and seems to be suitable for my needs but have almost zero experience with canoes.. QUESTION... 1. Can rod storage or decks be mounted? 2. Can seats be added? Back rest types.. 3. Can lights be added? 4. Westpalmdude (Jason) and I went to Loxahatchee Wildlife Refuge for a little relaxation. This was Jason's first time fishing the Refuge. The day started out by me catching this Oscar. We then headed down the canal and did some exploring deep into the refuge. No telling where this would have taken us but we weren't going to risk the T/M battery finding out. Then we thought we saw Doug Hannon but it was only one of his snakes out for a swim. This guy was much more fun to play with than the snake. I was smacking my lure against the water trying to get some weed off when his attention was drawn to us. He swam towards us from about 50yds away. I think he has been fed by people in the past because he wasn't shy at all and at one point just floated inches from the side of the boat looking at us. I caught this little dude on a worm and a couple others on a spinnerbait. And what about Jason? Well, he spent most of the day hunting for a trophy using a 10" worm but came up empty. It wasn't until after we loaded the boat up and snuck over to the NO FISHING zone did he finally catch one. It was about 1/4 pound and sucked down that 10"er like a monster. Too bad the rest of the fish weren't that aggressive.
