I found $200 to blow on whatever. I will only consider one of these reels Another Curado200= $199., *ABU sx = $149., *ABU stx = $199., ABU Premier= $259 Plus its only 6.3 ounces and very sweet. Or $200 in tackle. Please only help me if you have tried both of these reel to make a decent comparison. I'm putting my trust in you guys. Thanx......Doug.....

That calcuta you bought will out caast any of the reels you mentioned. It sounds like you set it pretty good though. I set every other brake. (one in, one out and so on.) I use the friction brake mostly. Try setting it so your lure barely free falls. Let the lure dangle from the rod tip and then put it in free spool. Adjust the spool knob until the lure slowly drops to the ground, reel the lure back up and lat it slide down again but this time turn the knob just enough till the lure stops. Now try casting and see if it is any better. I know this sounds basic and I'm sure you already tried this but I can't think of anything else. Calcutas are sweet reals. I have 4 of them but at first, they took getting used to compared to other baitcasters.

Your eyes better be brown cause you are full of chit senko s are one of the best baits ever made at least for in central PA when nothin else works I can generally count on a senko rigged wacky. If senkos are so good then why would you use anything else?

I have several bags of sluggos my dad and I bought when they 1st came out. They worked very good. Believe it or not but the best color we discovered down here in S.Fl was the bubble gum color (pink). They also work good for trout and snook.....The originals are long and slender.

HELLO. Sorry to upset ya gramps. I had no idea you had surgery and frankly it's none of my business. I had rotator cuff surgery on my 19th birthday. Which ended my draft with the blue jays. So yes I know the pain. Was in a cast from shoulder to finger tips and then a sling and therapy. I certainly did not mean to upset ya in your time of pain but had I known you were going to be this touched by the funnin around then I would have never started the posts. I guess I got the wrong idea about your humor by reading all your posts poking fun and laughing in good humor. Again, sorry to upset ya. Good luck to a speedy recovery and peace out.

How do yall prepare for tournaments. I have one tonight from 6-10pm. The tourny's are held every other Thursday.. This is how I prepare. !st. I put in a good action movie and crank up the surround sound that bounces off the tile like a rubber ball. 2nd. I crank the A/C down to 72 and turn lights off. 3rd. I make a sandwich,get chips,soda and all my tackle/rods and sit in front of the t.v. 4th. I rig my rods and eat. I usually don't take more than 4 rods because it's dark out and hard to see them on the deck. 5th. After rigging and eating I relocate to the garage and crank the stereo to Bocephus and load the boat with my gear and cooler of food. 6th. Then the last hour before I leave I turn down the surround sound, lay on the couch and close my eyes. I try to picture the bass eating my plugs/worms and practice setting the hook. I try and vision the crowd cheering and chanting my name as I weigh in my catch. 7th. I get up, visit the "THRONE" one more time and out the door I go. How do yall prepare?

Bets of luck bro... I have a tourny tonight too that I'm preparing for as we speak. It's every other Thursday since April. We have about 30-40 boats. My partner and I already qualified for the classic coming up.

Fresh from my shower, I stand in front of the mirror complaining to my husband that my boobs are too small. Instead of characteristically telling me it's not so, he uncharacteristically comes up with a suggestion "If you want your boobs to grow, then every day take a piece of toilet paper and rub it between them for a few seconds". Willing to try anything, I fetch a piece of toilet paper and stand in front of the mirror, rubbing it between my boobs. "How long will it take?" I asked. "They will grow larger over a period of years" my husband replies. I stopped. "Do you really think rubbing a piece of toilet paper between my boobs every day will make my boobs larger over the years?" Without missing a beat he says "Worked for your butt, didn't it?" He's still alive, and with a great deal of therapy, he may even walk again!

Isn't it terrible I had to go to work and leave her alone.

Ever since Avid requested the Angalina Jolie pictures, I have noticed that his posts have contained numerous grammatical and spelling errors. I have to read his posts several times to understand them from all the mistakes. I also noticed that he has been up at 2, 3 and even 4am browsing this site, unable to sleep. I don't know exactly what it is he's doing with the pictures (the thought makes me ill) but we may need to monitor him very close. If his behavior continues then we may need to medicate him by sending pictures of Rosie O' Donelll.......

I noticed AVID was up at 4:00 am writing posts. I think we sent him too much porno and now he has trouble sleeping.

Okay, Jason.. The tides aren't cooperating with the 1st weekend of the season. We can either go late Friday at 11:30pm or late Saturday (Sunday morning) at 12:30 am. In either case we shouldn't be on the water more than 3 hours so you can still be home in time for a quick nap and up to take the wife to breakfast.
