Get a good brand youth backpack. This is what I use when hiking around. https://shop.highsierra.com/sitewide-promo-inclusion-list/high-sierra-mini-loop-backpack/873786290.html#q=Mini+loop&start=1

Few $100 casting rods needed; Possibly Dobyns Fury
Why does the length matter, I thought all the rods are the same, or at least the length was preference. But power and action should be equal, no?

Few $100 casting rods needed; Possibly Dobyns Fury
So Ive upped my limit to around 100$ ( $125 is the MAX, I know people love to push it up higher lol ). Im looking at Dobyns Fury line up ( very well talked baout here, hence the spending increase ) and I need them to be no longer than 7' as I plan on using them out of the kayak. The Frog rod might be pushing this, I might have to go 7'3'', as thats seems like the only option with the Furys. I need three rods, one is going to be for frogs and Im sure jigs could go on that too. The other two are going to have to be separated into two classes or spinners, buzzbaits, top water, few cranks ( very seldom ). Pretty much all lures minus plastics. Looking for Fury line up / other brands using the lures above, $125 max price tag per rod

Need three rods for casting setups
Lol I'm not upset about the opinions, it's just casual conversation

Need three rods for casting setups
True. But supposedly the users of the AirdX rods say it's unusually whippy for a M powered rod
-
Need three rods for casting setups
I heard the M was whippy. Hm.. is that medium okay for all the uses besides the frog? And the reconditioned part is a little harry to me... Like what exactly do they do to recondition them. To me if they need reconditioning they're broke

Need three rods for casting setups
Hopefully this will be my last post on this. I'd like suggestions on 50-75$ rods. I wanna keep them cheaper for now. Also on line suggestions too I want to use one for frogs I wabt to use one for top water, buzz baits, cranks, spinners, and jigs. So hopefully I can separate those lures into three rods. Possibly the suggestion on the Aird-x or the shocks still stand for some of the applications. But I'm opened. I know the experience of you guys will help me to get something that works well. And with three feels now, it may help making Ros decisions easier.

Does anyone use a snap swivel on their lines permanently?
Thanks. I was more so concerned with line twist as you said

Does anyone use a snap swivel on their lines permanently?
I was wondering if anyone uses a snap swivel on this setups always. It seems like a nice addition to eliminate line twist maybe even adding extra action to the lure.

The Daiwa roundup
I read on here that the Fuego has a plastic or the like side plate while the Tatula CT has a metal one... could you check that out since you have both in hand?

Looking for two casting rods - Not overly priced
Thanks. Ive seen people say the slop, now I dont know if Ive ever seen that thick mat slop before, so I guess around me its just lillys, maybe some thick-ish grass. When you guys say slop, you mean that thick green grassy looking stuff?

As far as cranks go, that would be top water included? And use the MH or H for frogs and jigs? I know its hard to get two rods to do it all, but thats kind of where Id like to be. I dont fish enough to have several rods for each use, if that makes sense.

Thanks New2BC. Im between the aird-x and shocks since theyre so cheap and seem to have good reviews. The shocks are 10$ cheaper and have a long standing history of being good. Aird-x are some what new but are proving good to go... My one only gripe about going to WM and getting the shock is there are many many many people that handle the rods, slap them around etc. Who knows how long it'll last, though it could last for ever. Id feel more comfortable buying someone off line from a tackle shop that at least knows what NOT to do with them.

True. As long as I go with one that is talked about a lot, I think Im safe.

Interesting... A sport as big as fishing doesn't have true guidelines? I will check them out. Wonder if there are any saleS Now when you guys say you can't use this or that for trebel lures, why's that? So I can't use a specific rod for poppers or cranks but I can for say other top water lures or jigs?

So you're saying a H and MH? I'd like something for pretty much everything other than worm use. I wanna keep worm use to the spinning setups
