I ran a media boat for a FLW Tour event last year and had the pleasure of following Clay with a camera man. Clay is an AWESOME guy !!!!

I have fished Fishers of Men for 3 years in western KY. The meeting usually last about 1 hour including dinner. The speakers have been good and have spoke on a variety of topics. I have made some great friends and have won some money. The tournaments have been well operated.

FLourocarbon for sure

I use flouro and love it. I have never had a problem with it breaking at the knot. There is a good article on another site about why the knot fails.

I have 2 G Loomis crankbait rods and love them.

All of my combos feel the same with the same reels and same rod builder

They are hard to remove when they are mounted in the dash and in the bow panel .... I do take off my GPS though as it is beside the console.

I use flourocarbon on most things ... Transition if I need to see it .... green on top water lures.

I am gonna force myself to use a c rig this year. I am looking at 2 rods designed for c rigs. One handles 3/8 to 3/4 and is listed as heavy ... the other is listed as 3/8 to 1 1/2 and is listed as X heavy. Which would be a better choice? That one has to be pretty stiff !!!

I have a hard time with BASS now days since they are washing their hands of anything that has to do with weekend anglers ....( no Bassmaster University, farming out the weekend series, etc.) Pretty soon, you won't be able to be a member or get the magazine if you can't get them TV revenue.

I am an FLW man myself, however, I do follow one or 2 of the pros on BASS Elite.

There is a club on Kentucky Lake that is not affiliated and the tournaments have an OPTIONAL $10 pot. Sounds like fun!!
