Also consider posting on the FLW discussion boards to try to find someone to pre-fish with. A lot of boaters like to have someone prefish with them to help with gas money. As a BFL co-angler you will learn alot and have a great time.

Didn't change how far I tow ... or how far I run. I don't run WOT as aften as I used to ... we can save a lot of fuel by running 4500 RPM instead of 5800 or 6000. Heck ... I just made a 25+ mile run this morning just to try to meet up with a friend on the water ... and the friend wouldn't even motor over and say Hi !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I spent 5 days at Kentucky Lake this week ... the awesome part is I made a new fishing friend. Our fishing styles are similar and we hit it off ... we fished ... caught ... traded fishing knowledge ... swapped stories ... and laughed. ;D More proof of the super people we have in our sport.

I agree with cart7. Hard to see this being successful in our current economy. I and told the bass boat market is soft except for upper mid level stuff like Rangers and Tritons. This new company won't have that kind of reputation to carry them.

Like the others have said, might not move your boat til spring .... might consider Ebay ... I'm amazed at the prices boats bring on there.

I avoided the C-rig for years ... then I went out with a teaching guide and learned more about it. It is now one of my favorite techniques and has improved my deep water catching.

I have that exact combination. I believe they got that lower unit thing under control. I have not had any trouble with mine. I run it pretty hard too. The power is great ... pushes that 520 pretty well. The Mercs and Yammies of that year can't even come close. Engine starts well, is quiet, smooth, and easy on gas. I've never been sorry .... I don't think you will either.

Denny is a class act. I have meet him a few times and have followed him around the lake during a tournament. He's the real deal.
