While fishing the Susquehanna for smallies I nailed a "stickerel"......hooked on to what I thought was a snag but then it started to move.....fought like a good size smallie moving back and forth under the water......got it to the surface and it was a piece or 2x4 with a small piece of plywood nailed to it......caught in the current I swore it was a fish....both my buddy and our guide Mike roared....true story
