  1. Yes, but it's not official since I released the fish after a few pics and weighing it. The pic below doesn't do the fish justice but I held him as close to me as I could and streched my arm with the camera as far as I could. The fish still didn't fit in the pic. I hate selfportraits ;D! Bass in Ontaro seem to get alot bigger since the record is 10.43lbs. Fish of that size are unheard of around here. I have seen a couple fish in spring around 8lbs. but that's the max. But you never know there might a monster swimming around somewhere? A friend of mine has been fishing the lake for 15 years and he held the record (7.3lbs.) for a long time. He confirmed that he never has seen a bass larger then 8lbs. There were several 7-7.5lbs. fish caught this year which are huge for europe. Catching a 7lber. around here is like catching a 15lber. in California!
  2. Congrats on the win!! 8-) Got any pics?
  3. You can catch bass with almost anything but I wouldn't even touch that stupid looking thing never mind fish with it!
  4. Nice canadian bass! Congrats on the PB! I guess the bass around there will get to about the same size like here in Switzerland. My PB is 7.9lbs. and is the swiss record. What's the record around your neck of the woods? I'm still hoping for an 8 or better (if they exist?).
  5. Same here! Even 1-2lbers. have bellies on them (if you can catch them )!
  6. WOW?! Do you fish in the U.S.? No, unfortunately not. I'm from Switzerland.
  7. I'm sure that thing can catch fish in the right circumstances but it does look ridiculous. It's a friggin toy with a treble on it! ;D ;D ;D If I'm going to use something strange then it should be made for fishing. Bat or cicada, bass can't tell the difference.
  8. I use snaps on almost all of my hardbaits.
  9. I caught this 2.8lb perch on saturday. We only caught two 2lbs. bass all day.
  10. Those fish are better then none! I'm having a hard time even catching 1kg. fish! Fall is coming and fishing WILL get better!! (I hope)
