  3. Before you are "allowed" to pay $150 for your fishing license you have to take an exam. If you don't pass, no license. They only have these exams in spring (3 times) and if you don't pass, no fishing for you till next year!
  4. Put it around your neck (without the treble)! ;D ;D ;D ;D
  5. Just tell them that you need a special permit to fish that pond otherwise they will get fined $500!

I'm against snagging any fish because this has nothing to do with fishing. If you cant catch them leave them alone.
  7. I usually beat the banks unless I rent a boat with some friends. Most people keep their boats at a dock all year and that can cost you up to $3000 a year! Any boat with engine larger the 8 horsepower needs a special license that can cost around $4000 (courses, exams etc.) Then there is insurance yearly taxes and who knows what else. Yea, it's all very expensive and I rather spend my money on tackle. You are not allowed to use any electronics on boats so even if you do have one, the fish are still hard to find. Just a fishing license costs $150 a year.
  8. Even perch love it!
  9. One of my favorite topwaterbaits! You can use a straight retrieve, stop and go or even walk the dog! This bait works well when other bulkier wakebaits don't produce.
  10. Yes, this site definately helps improve fishing!

That's still a good outing! Congrats! You did alot better then us yesterday! 4 fisherman, 1 dink and 1 3lber in 10 hours of fishing! At least it was me that caught the 3lber.! That fish in the first pic is more then 3lbs. (unless you're a midget ;D ;D ;D)

  17. Your jig fish looks bigger then your PB and like LBH said, I also would say that fish is 6-6.5lbs. This one was 7.1 for reference. Catching a 7.1lber in switzerland is like catching a 15lber. in California.
  18. Good looking fish!
  19. I only use a leader in gin clear water and that only with softbaits or jerkbaits in the cold months.
  20. Very nice fish and it's more then 5lbs!

  22. I think this fish has potential:
  23. Good size poorly fed florida strain bass.
