Wow, that sucks. I ordered mine from Cabela's in Garner. BPS had the Heriatge at the Raleigh Saltwater and Bass Expo and I ordered mine there. While I was getting ready to do the paperwork my wife mentioned how it would be nice if they could deliver it to Cabela's since we live close to the one in Garner and the BPS guy called over one of the Cabela's guys and we did the order through them.

Yes, there is a Trim switch on the side of the motor. I specifically looked for it on Thursday when I stopped in at BPS.

I wonder if they will remove the existing one for you or do you have to remove it before they'll install a new one. Also wonder what the turnaround time is on it. I've heard they are slow when doing installs.

Minor heart attack today. Got a letter from the bank that I had agreed to terms with over the phone a few weeks ago and I read the first line of the letter which stated "Unfortunately we are unable to provide you with financing on the terms you requested". It went on to say "However we will be happy to provide financing on the following terms..." Funny thing was that the amount financed was about $1200 too high. Called them and got it straightened out. Now I continue waiting another 3 to 5 weeks for my boat.

I sent an email to my sales guy asking if we were still on schedule for the 4 - 6 week time frame he quoted me for delivery. He replied stating that Production is having a hard time keeping up with Demand and it will probably be pushed back a week or 2.

I have been holding off on buying anything for it. Once I have a firm delivery date I might start buying. I did almost pull the trigger on a Humminbird 688 DI HD that Cabelas had on clearance for $249. Don't want to jinx anything by buying a bunch of stuff and having something cause it to fall through. Not that I'm aware of but I haven't seen the final paperwork yet.

Dont know if hes taken it out, he says he likes it though. He said he ordered it as soon as they went on sale.

Just saw where somebody on another forum got one 2 or 3 weeks ago. Not sure how they got it so early.

Craving BBQ and my favorite BBQ place is next to Cabelas so I may just drop in to look at it again.

I've never towed a boat before but I would only do it with a cover that is rated for travel.

As far as what? The included one doesn't look too hard to replace. I checked the wiring routing yesterday when I was at Cabelas and it shouldn't be hard to run new wires from the transom to the console. Bow mount for the trolling motor might be a bit trickier. I didn't check that out but I can stop tomorrow and check it out on my way home from work.
