Which two Exprides did you get?

I have a 14 foot jon boat that I added a deck on the front and back to so the weight is more than you'd think. I have been running it only on a trolling motor this year but just bought a 9.9 hp outboard for it. Trying to decide what size gas tank to buy. Looks like I would probably be deciding between 3 and 6 gallon tanks. The 3 would certainly fit and I'm pretty sure the 6 would as well. I would never run it on big bodies of water where I needed to run it for a real long time or anything. I just don't have any personal experience with how fast I would burn through gas with a boat of this size/weight with a 9.9 hp motor and would appreciate some help here. TIA

Just to let everyone know and rest easy I just ordered a Vanford 2500 and the price came out to $183.99 so as we all figured Shimano is included.

I'm looking for something to carry 4-6 rods from the van to the docked boat when I take the wife and kids out to our pontoon and do some fishing. I am just sick and tired of grabbing them in one hand and worrying about scratching my high dollar rods up or getting them all tangled up with all the exposed treble hooks and lines on the rods. I don't think I want the style that looks like a piece of luggage where you zip up the bag around them. I realize this style I'm talking about would not offer much rod tip protection or protection from the elements but I am not concerned about that. I seed that now but in the past didn't it adjust the price on the page of that item from the get go? Or am I remembering wrong?

Just to be SURE what once you made the purchase and got the email what did they actually charge you for the Vanford?

Hmm, where are you seeing this? I would assume there would be some sort of message on their front page saying this. Plus I have some items webpage still up I was considering (not items that would not publicly show a price difference like Shimano, Megabass, etc) and when I refresh the page the price is the same. What gives?

What does the PG stand for? I see it offers a 5.0:1 gear ratio. Other than that I assume EVERYTHING else (weight, spool size, line capacity, handle type/size) is the same as the other Curado K models?

Interesting. I've certainly heard of guys applying it BEFORE a fishing session but never AFTER it. What is your thought process with this?
