Keitech knock off I'm thinking of?
I use and love the 4.8 Keitech swing impact fat baits but they are a bit pricey. Last week I found (and for the life of me I cannot find it again!) a post on this or another forum talking about a cheaper version that is practically identical. I remember they can be purchased at Cabela's. Does anyone know possibly the bait I am thinking of?

Cheap fishing backpack ideas?
Looks like some people may have not understood what I was saying. I was saying I would be the one carrying it, not him. Probably doesn't matter to this scenario and question but I just wanted to point that out in case someone was going to make a specific recommendation and didn't realize a full sized adult male would be the one carrying it on his back.

Cheap fishing backpack ideas?
My 7 year old son likes to go check out small local ponds and such and a lot of times we have to walk a descent bit. I and TIRED of carrying my super heavy tackle box through the woods and all that. I was looking at buying some of those Flambeau waterproof clear storage boxes and throwing them in an over the shoulder soft backpack so it is easy to carry and keep my hands free. To save money I was just going to buy a normal backpack but then I saw they have fishing specific ones. Are they more or less the same thing or do they offer some nice features? Anything cheap you would recommend in particular?

Flipping and pitching technique question
My question wasn't so much did I NEED to do it the way I asked about but being that I'm brand new to the technique would it be BENEFICIAL to learn this way because while not necessary it might be ideal?

Flipping and pitching technique question
Getting into flippin and pitching and while practicing the motion I had a thought/question. Everything I hear is that quick reaction bites are common and from the second it hits the water you better be ready with your hand on the reel. Got me to thinking about perhaps getting a leg up on the situation. I am right handed and on my baitcaster I hold the rod with my left and the reel with my right. Most of the instructional videos I’ve seen show righties flipping with the rod in their right hand then always having to put it back into their left hand and put their right on the reel. This seems rather needless and slow. To eliminate clumsiness (or even missing a fish that bites the moment it hits the water and I’m busy switching hands) since I am brand new to the technique and don’t have any “bad habits” to unlearn show I learn to pitch with the rod in my left hand and so the second it hits the water I am good to go and not trying to switch hands?

What size hook for 5" wacky rigged Senko?
When you they are "dialed in for the technique" are you merely referring to the style/make up or the size as well? I assume they make the exact same type of hook I posted the photo of in 2/0, correct?

What size hook for 5" wacky rigged Senko?
Are different companies hook sizes different compared to each others? This 1/0 just looks small to me but I see some guys here saying that's the ideal size then others saying 2/0 and 3/0? Seems like a pretty big discrepancy when the bait is constant in this example, a 5" Senko.

What size hook for 5" wacky rigged Senko?
Been wanting to try wacky rigging some 5" Senkos and I was pointed to these 1/0 Owner weedless wacky hooks. I think the hook style is just fine but 1/0 is too small for 5" Senkos and I should look at a larger size?

Pitching with hook that has a screw on pin?
So the example you gave with the Bass Pro link, if I chose to go that route I could just "attach" that to my Gammy 4/0 EWG and I'm good to go?

Pitching with hook that has a screw on pin?
Can you suggest a / show me what and add on screwlock looks like? Same thing for this screw in bullet weight?

Jackall Archelon
Has anyone ever used the Jackall Archelon soft plastic bait? This Jackall Archelon has a solid head but a hollow middle and he was saying when you T-rig it you leave the hook in the hollow belly meaning it is completely smooth and impossible to get caught up but that he has never missed a fish hook up with this style and that he thought he would but that he hasn’t. Anyone have experience with this bait or something similar? Any others like this I should consider?

Pitching with hook that has a screw on pin?
Just getting into flipping/pitching for LMB and had a question for more experienced guys. I was using a 4/0 Gamakatsu EWG hook T-rigged and a rage tail structure bug. Went OK but I was surprised how much the soft plastic bait took a beating and got torn up. Plus I was constantly having to fiddle with it to get it back on the hook sitting properly. I starting thinking about it, should I get/do they make a 4/0 EWG style hook with a screw on center pin to keep the soft plastic in place and extend the life of it? Looks like Owner makes one (I attached a photo of it) and I was also looking at something like the other photo made by VMC that has a barb on it to help hold the soft plastic body in place. Just wanted some opinions on this and maybe specific recommendations. Thanks!

Style of hook recommendation for 4.8 Keitech
I am certain the 4/0 is the right size, as you've shown me here. I'm saying if I want to get one with the attached weight on the bottom what size weight I should go with. I'm thinking 1/8 oz but I wanted to see if people thought that was good or not.

Style of hook recommendation for 4.8 Keitech
I've got some Keitech 4.8 Fat Swing Impacts I've been wanting to try out as swimbaits. My question is about the hook. For that size I'll probably go with a 4/0 EWG with the twist on head screw. My question is should I use with one with or without a jig head? If not and I wanted to get one with a belly weight on the underside what would I want to go with like 1/8 oz?

Siebert Outdoors review
The prices certainly look reasonable to his jigs. Shipping reasonable?

Jig Fishing Questions
Just getting into jig fishing. To get a better sense of the line and what is going on down there is a good idea to hold the line in between your thumb and forefinger?

Beginner at jig fishing needing some advice
This year I am trying to expand how I fish for largemouth bass and try new presentations. I never have really done and fishing with jigs and want to give it a go. I know you can buy all different types of rigs; some that are best in rocks, around timber and all other conditions. My budget will not allow that and I want to buy 3 jigs that are all around performers and not only in certain conditions. If I am going to only buy 3 what would you recommend? Brand, size, head design type and what 3 colors?

What size hook for a 4" Rage Bug?
Yeah I am thinking EWG for this particular bait. But maybe more of an offset straight shank to t-rig a senko?
-
What size hook for a 4" Rage Bug?
I think I am going to buy two different colors of the 4" Rage Bug. One will be black and blue. The other would be either the green pumpkin or the Watermelon Red flake. Do you guys suggest one over the other or are they so similar it really doesn't matter?

What size hook for a 4" Rage Bug?
Would you still suggest the 4/0 of I went up to the 4.5" size?

SuperLine hook?
If I am only using braid "should" I use these types? Or would the normal ones be just fine?
