  1. Best comment award goes to you sir haha
  2. Good thing I got copper !!
  3. I thought about buying these and maybe spraying them with the Nikwax waterproof spray or the TW stuff.
  4. Hey those look great @FishTank I might try those. I also searched the Internet for hours last night and found these ! These have the cuts in them to pull your fingers threw and waterproof ! Greg Blanchard a YouTuber mentioned them and look great. Check these out. @A-Jay @Skunked againhttps://www.nrs.com/product/25040.01/nrs-hydroskin-20-forecast-gloves
  5. I stand 75% of the time even in my canoe
  6. Coldest I fish is probably around 38 degrees in mornings and 40s in afternoon. Like in a few weeks I thunk the ice will be thawed but will still be like 47 during the day
  7. I really liked the wind stopper gloves , to bad they can’t make them waterproof. Or I wonder if you could buy some waterproof spray and coat them
  8. Looking for a good waterproof glove or somewhat waterproof I guess. When it got cold I bought some cabelas neoprene gloves but they didn’t work that well.. my hands still got really cold when I went to grab a fish and got damp. I was thinking maybe gore Tex gloves or some other brand because I know neoprene is supposed to be waterproof and insulated but these were not. Even if they are fingerless but warm and stay dry would be nice. I’m not dunking my hands in the water but enough to keep dry and warm when lipping a fish would be nice
  9. Awesome thank you for your help. I’m pretty sure I’m going to get the frontier 12! And I plan to add a transom trolling motor sometime but paddling is fine to. I’m in no hurry when fishing. I was looking for more stability and space which sounds like the frontier has ! Now just waiting for some open water

    Hello and welcome!
  11. I think it was the same one I read bc it was from a few years ago ha. Awesome thanks man! Guess I’m sold. Can’t wsit to get it
  12. Only thing I wonder is it really top heavy? I saw lots and lots of good reviews but then saw one bad one that made me hesitant. It mentioned the seat was high and made it top heavy and gravity was off and it rolled. It could have been human error but how do you feel?
  13. I’m wondering if anyone has had experienced with these two fishing kayaks. I am looking to get a true fishing kayak/canoe that is super stable and has plenty of open deck space and customization. I fish Lake Erie in the pre spawn along the harbors and then mainly stick to smaller lakes / ponds. Wondering what is best for these situations. I fish alone 90% of the time. I prefer more stability and space over anything and being able to track well on the water. I will eventually put a trolling motor on the back. Any help would be appreciated
  14. Thank you everyone! I went with a copper lens, can’t wait to use them
  15. I was looking at solar bat or eye surrender ESE glasses. They around mid price glasses. I can’t see myself buying 100$ + glasses. Just not me
  16. I was looking for being able to see under water as I fish a lot of vegetation and lay downs , stumps etc. sun doesn’t bother me. It sounds like Amber or copper is the way to go then. @TOXIC thanks for the copper suggestion it sounds like a good medium
  17. Everywhere I read or listen to online says that amber is for “low light conditions” so is it good in the sun? I fish Lake Erie a lot pre spawn and smaller bodies of water in the summer bc I use a canoe so nothing is reslly deep open water. I would like to see what is under the water better but a lot of times it’s sunny sky’s. So would Amber still be the best? @drew4779 @Catt @WRB
  18. So amber will help me see what’s beneath the water ? With logs and weeds etc. will it be good on sunny days though ?
  19. I did a search and looked threw a bunch but there wasn’t any clear senses on this or maybe I didn’t find it , sorry if it’s a repeat but I’m wondering what color glasses to get. I’m getting a pair of polarized glasses and wondering what is good for mainly bright sunlight conditions or some cloud cover. I don’t reslly need to sight fish as I don’t ever do bed fishing. But something to be able to make out stumps and stuff in water or see vegetation’s a little better but on sunnier days or little cloud cover.
  20. That swimjig is amazing. Can’t tell ya how many 5-6 pounders caught with that
  21. Where did you find those also? I looked at TW and they are sold out
  22. Where did you get those squarebills?? Those perch colors would do amazing for me !! It seems we have much of the same type of fisheries and go after those smallmouth! Perch patterns are amazing. I actually got picked up a couple jack hammers and those duo realis g fix lipless bc of you .. very nice baits
  23. Same here ! Wednesday - Friday show 54-60 but then it gets back into mid thirty’s so I’m hoping maybe the little ponds around here thaw enough to fish! Come on spring
  24. I love the night before going fishing! I’m jsut starting to get the tackle out now, re spooling all my reels and getting ready for ice out up here in western New York! I have another month easily of ice and even then I’m still excited
