Area has a lot to do with it, in my area it occurs when the water temps hit around 70 - 69 degrees in late October

I have internal built in gps.no additional chip.the guy at Lowrance said to punch menu and punch return to vessel to solve my problem.goingup to Lanier soon to check it out.Thanks

Long tapering red clay points with rock present.Zoom super flukes thrown weightless with a 12 inch flourocarbon leader with barrel swivel.After that bite fades back off and Carolina Rig the heck out of it.

I have a new h-5 at the console . Gps map is hung on map of the U.S. This is my second one,first one had a bad power switch, but the gps showed the correct map of every big lake I fished in GA. this year automatically when I launched at each lake.The manual doesn't say anything how to punch it in.Anyone have the answer before I contact Lowrance?

Agree P- line is good.Checkout Berkley Big Game for bait casting set up and Sunline mono,Suffix Elite for spinning outfits. Reasonable prices on all of them in my area,maybe different where you live.Good luck.
