  1. I would probly spool up with braid and tie on whatever type of leader you need. Any rod I might want to use different baits on that is how I spool up. Only on my jig rod do I have straight flouro spooled and only on my swimbait rod do I have straight mono spooled.
  2. another vote for pad crasher, and if you need a change toadrunner. i have a bunch in diff colors no need for anything else
  3. its rated 1/4oz to 1oz so you would be good to go on the sexy dawg
  4. dude if you just want to fish in peace why are you so aggressive? this statement and the one in your OP about the split shot is actually kind of frightening. you are admitting to being willing to commit a crime if there were no witnesses???? does nobody else see anything wrong with this psycho?
  5. I have my Stradic Ci4 on a St Croix Legend Tournament Bass 6'8 MH Fast. I will never take it off.
  6. Yes, I typically use braid to flouro leader
  7. I can second the 705 CB, I have the champion XP and it is amazing for sure.
  8. anything can break that thing off... caught in a limb and tugged too hard? gone. tried to skip under dock but nailed it up against it? gone. smash on a rock on shore while casting to it from a boat? gone. that being said I still buy the hell out of them because they simply preform and usually if i do manage to hit that tight spot instead of slamming my $25 110 the fish is usually where I thought it would be and it is worth it. i learned to take better care of my 110's and if i plan on tossing it into the **** i throw an old one or a knockoff
  9. lol when i buy a fishing lure i fully accept that money is gone forever... you could lose it any number of ways
  10. Wacky is pretty much the main way I use swim senko. I just bust em out when im out of my preferred regular senko or want a different action on the rig. Rarely will I t rig it. Catches fish like a champ.
  11. I had a casitas until I dropped it into the drink and bought a chronarch. The casitas was awesome for the money. I cant believe its such a nice reel at that price point and I would not buy any other.
  12. I have a 704 and 705 cb. The 704 is graphite, and my favorite rod by far. It is light, crisp, with plenty of give loaded up with a nice fish. It keeps them pinned just right. It feels like a fantastic tool in my hands. That being said the 705 I love second best. I simply use it for anything a bit large for the 704. It is fiberglass, and I love that about it. The give is incredible for a MH rod. I like it more than my LTB jig rod but alas they are for different things. To me these two rods are indespensible in my arsenal and cover many bases. I had originally ordered a 704 in graphite and fiberglass, ended up sending the glass back for the 705 glass, and could not be happier. I feel like my setup is complete with these rods added in. Depending on what im fishing for I have a chronarch ci4 on both, or maybe a curado k xg on the 705 and keep a chronarch on the 704
