I liked the new duckett silverado I bet that’s a dam good rod unfortunately duckett hasn’t been getting much attention. I believe they need to make some changes in their marketing. I’m not a fan of their cranking rods but other then that I really dig their rods very strong and sensitive.

Basically a caenan with an aluminum frame, graphite side plates, with a 150 size spool and longer handles. Not bad I think it will be a very good reel in the long run.

Small Necessities

I feel more confident using scented baits and also feel the fish definitely hold on to the bait longer. Caffeine strike kings, power bait plastics or any type of off the shelf spike it type scents are good.

I used to work for a beverage company and we used food grade oil on all the machines to keep them maintained, in the food and beverage industry the machines have to use a food grade oil on the bearings and machines, well at least here in California. Olive oil makes sense but seems kinda thick for baitcasters?
