I like the KVD frog.

I use 12 pound big game because it’s cheap and I bought a spool for cranking but didn’t like it. I will usually crank the handle about 60 turns then put my main line on.

Probably? I wouldn’t worry about it though. If you’re really worried about probably invest in some really good eye protection.

I agree^ specially when the bass are spawning. I don’t see that many ppl fishing for bass year round in most of the lakes/ponds around my town. When the spawn comes along you see them in droves scooping up and taking A bunch of bass and quality bass and that does bother me.

It’s true but the chronarc mgl holds its value pretty well still,lucky to get it under 250 new, the k didn’t hold its value like I thought it would and can be easily had for 140 I’m hoping that the resale value of the dc holds better than the k but only time will tell. Resale value is important to me because I buy resell or trade a lot of my gear eventually. The curado dc is a sweet reel and I’m still on the fence specially because I think that the fascination of DC will die down pretty quickly. If resale is 200$ in a year from now it would have been a good reel to put some money into it really depends on the quality and performance of the product. The older shimanos like the core 50s and even the chronarc and curado E series’s held their value significantly. The k being a good reel however in such high demand they were pumping them out of the factory like hot cakes and I think a lot of qc was over looked not to mention they are coming from Malaysia not Japan a lot of factory defects came out of them although the problems were easily fixed not big problems the reviews for defects made for a quick dive in resale value in my opinion. I’m hoping this won’t be the case with the DC although I don’t plan on selling it if I do so decide to spend my denarius on it.

As we all know the dc reels are nothing new at least not to the Japanese domestic market, I have no reel knowledge on them other then a ton of hype of the internet/you tube I know a a lot you guys have experience with them. Which finally brings me to the question how are they in the long run? is maintaining them different? Do they last? Some one pls Weigh in on this?

I don’t care what ppl do as long as they are abiding by the rules and regulations. You want to keep your bass wether it is to eat it or have it mounted I don’t care just don’t break the law and I keep to myself. It bugs me when bedded bass are being scooped up but it’s mainly a lack of education for fish repopulation and reproduction. I try not to let it bother me. Now I won’t hesitate to call the DFW if I see someone breaking the law.

Last year I preordered a Curado K on the 4th of July sale and didn’t get it till mid November if I’m not mistaken ? but the k was a little more affordable so I think maybe less ppl ordered ? or I hope the demand might not be as high? ?

I only watch bass fishing videos I don’t like watching GT fishing and fishing on the other side of the planet for carp, me just me personally I like watching bass fishing videos. Not the adventures of a bunch of kids goofing off and fishing a little. I don’t like watching that stuff. I like anything to do with bass fishing any channel that I might learn something or listen to a good break down on tackle I enjoy.

Yeah that’s the pack I bought the general black and blue but I only tried it once fishing clear water super clear water, no luck but I’ll be throwing it again soon. Oh and I’m no fan of the shimee sticks wouldn’t waste my 3 bucks on them I rather fish yum.
