  1. Don’t forget a revamp of the citica?
  2. It’s gonna happen but why would shimano do it now that they are on top. Their going to wait at least till next year this is also based on pure speculation. I would think that this won’t happen until the diawa tatula 100 takes steam and cuts into their sales.
  3. This is totally just presumption or speculation and if they do put micro module gears you might have to wait a while I don’t think shimano is in a rush to bring out anything new at the moment I think their in top rite now, as far as with their main competitors. Its either micro module gears or an mgl spool in the future I presume, but definitely not both.
  4. Good for you. Your catch rate will go up significantly with a more sensitive blank.
  5. Same here in California, maybe mid to late September that’s when things will start getting good but it’s going to be kick ass all October.
  6. Ugly sticks are good for cranking but that’s about it when it comes to fishing for bass.
  7. For most all around applications I would pick the k. For lighter applications the 70 if you’re gonna be doing a lot of skipping or flipping in pin point accurate spots I would pick the dc. The dc doesn’t brake at the initial point of enertia the brakes don’t kick in till the baits flinging threw the air so although it has a heavy spool when you initially cast the lure it’s on free spool which is what makes the dc brakes so freaking cool. Now for the dc you might want to wait before you buy it considering it is the first curado dc model and their could be some kinks to be worked out it’s up to you though. Now the new tatula 100 is also a reel you might want to consider but it still hasn’t come out yet. But I don’t think that reel will be what you want if you’re going to be throwing swim baits. For swim baits you’re going to want a 200 or even 300 size spool a round reel would be optimal.
  8. Sometimes color can be bothersome your just gonna have to find the right rod to pair with it or it’s just going to bug you.
  9. There is nothing on this video saying anything negative about the reel Having brake issues I’ve seen it before. Curado dc is a solid reel and voted best fresh water reel for 2018 for a good reason. The reel is not for everyone but to say that the brakes are defective is unreasonable. Probably not a good choice for swim baits however the k would be better suited for lighter swim baits also if you want to try lews that’s also a solid choice lews makes good reels. In this video I’m sure the guy is pointing out the learning curve with the dc brakes but there’s nothing saying that there’s anything wrong with them.
  10. Wow all I’ve heard is good things... care to post a link of all these complaints your talking about because I haven’t heard that?
  11. Duckett casting? Anyhow I would recommend a medium for the spinning rod but both rods seem like good choices I love the ghost series of rods great rods! And their are no problems with the brakes on the curado dc that I know of?
  12. I get what you guys are saying tho
  13. You might want to refrase your question?
  14. It wasn’t that long ago the standard baitcaster was 8+ ounces
  15. I’ve tried out the general in black and blue also green pumpkin only two packs but that’s all I needed to be sold. I think durablity is about the same as a senko? maybe just a little more durable? It’s got tuffer skin. I have no problem paying 7 bucks a pack for these and next trip to bass pros and I’m definitely getting a few packs no doubt this is my go to stick bait from here on out. It catches em when a regular senko won’t which makes the senko Irrelevant for me. Still gonna make sure I keep a few packs of yum dingers always on stock because I know I’ll be running out of the power bait max scent General here and there.
  16. You got it buddy
  17. I utilize glass or a composite for most those.
  18. Welcome to the forums ?
  19. Mojos are good rods and 5 year warranty.
  20. Anything in a 6 speed is optimal. Maybe lower if you crank those deep divers.
