I think that marketing is really effective now a days on the internet and YouTube and it really get us bad! Seems like a never ending cycle of things that we covet. Things that we consume it’s not a good thing. But as long as their is a consumer company’s will continue to capitalize on it, the never ending cycle of wanting more and buying more and coveting what you can’t have.

Yeah I try to tire them out drag them on shore. When I bank fish I don’t bank flip them specially not with my mojos they will snap. I have a couple of mojos I never snapped one but I can see it happening if I bank flip em. They are good rods but they are not really as strong as some ppl might claim. IMO. I have other rods that are mhf that I can bank flip, boat flip a five pounder if I wanted to but not with my mojos it can be done but I try not to.

In that previous retracted statement I was agreeing with @Burke and basically talking about talkle directs bad customer services.............. I feel like they treat you like your just trying to rip them off or something instead of helping you they are on the fence about helping you with return exchanges. What I’m saying is only tw or Alf on eBay I wanted to try tackle direct and my personal experience was not good don’t recommend.

On some of my previous post on this thread I had retracted some statements I wrote about tackle direct and their customer services because we were trying to fix an issue I was having with a curado k that I had purchased, so I went threw the exchange process on my own dime for the shipping and they sent me another reel or the same reel. The box had no seal and the reel wasn’t even in bubble wrap the worst part about it is that the problem I was having with the thumb bar not engaging properly was still having that problem. The reel was greased up good and oiled I presume they did a quick serving to it and resent it? But I’m pretty disappointed with them and I will only go threw TW from here on out Or eBay ... I’m keeping the reel have one of my guys check it out and fix it I don’t want to hassle with them. I don’t recommend them! this is just my opinion and experience with them. You like them that’s cool, but I will never order from them again!

This can be another example of a factory defect coming straight from the factory and also an example of how it can happen to any manufacturer no matter how much you pay for a reel or what brand their can always be a factory issue and if this is the case I suggest you return it for an exchange or call customer service.

I don’t know maybe it’s all the YouTube kastking salesman that get on my nerves but to tell you the truth I mainly fish shimano reels I like Japanese engineering I have been really wanting to try diawa and will probably get the new tatula 100 zero adjust when it comes out. My brother in law uses lower end abu Garcia reels and I tried them out I thought they were pretty decent for the price I had an stx spinning reel a few years ago that kind of started falling apart on me after two years of heavy use and I gave it to my brother in law it was solid and smooth however when it was new, he still uses it to this day.

I don’t use jerkbaits in the fall but the 75x will out perform the little John in my own personal experience but I know there’s a lot of ppl who believe the opposite. I fish them till the middle of November but water doesn’t freeze over here in my neck of the woods once December comes I either throw a jerk bait or a jig or just fish for trout.

The Powell inferno composite is really a solid rod as well.

Last time my wife fancy new dryer took a poop on us and it would have cost 400$ to fix fortunately it was still under warranty so we were able to get it done for free, theses newer washer/dryers are expensive with all their electrical stuff.
