  1. Here are a few pics form our dock.
  2. I am thinking of heading up there Friday. I will snap a few pics if I go and post them.
  3. What is the word on the bend? Anyone catching any fish? Dropping any lower units? Visiting toledo fiberglass? Thinking about making a trip in the next couple of weeks.
  4. I will say this. I have caught some fish in all those places except the ones that the arrows are pointed to. I have looked at them some but didn’t spend much time there. RonnieF has a place right there and may be able to add something to this. Good luck.
  5. Lil Joe, I sent you a PM.
  6. Yeah, lakemaster for Toledo is awesome both in your unit and mobile.
  7. Sweet. Glad someone is catching.
  8. Not at night but I have thrown it in the early morning when it was pitch black. They seem to miss it more, but I have caught some good ones.
  9. Couldn't get a bite.
  10. Tough out there. Fished from around noon to 7:00. Caught 8 small fish from the bridge up to San Patricio. Headed to cypress bend today and fished until 2:30 only catching 10. Gonna try again in the morning. May focus a little deeper. We saw everything around 22 ft. and caught them on dropshot, crankbait and jig. Be careful it is hotter than the sun out there.
  11. Natural forage?
  12. Sure are some tight lipped folks in here. Either that or the dog days of summer are here. Heading back up there next Thursday morning to fry my brain.
  13. Throw a dropshot. ?
  14. I was back at the bend this past weekend. I got up there around 10:00 Friday morning and fished until the weather blew us off around 4:00ish. I am normally scared to death of lightning, so if I see it I run. I did not see any but the line would float in the air and my rod shocked me multiple times. It was then that I decided it was time to go. Anyway, we caught around 60 on Friday in the mid-lake area between 18-22 FOW. We caught them on dropshot, C-rig and crankbaits. The biggest was around 5.5lbs pictured below. Saturday we fished the same areas except we ran down to the indian mounds as well. Same story as we caught around 50 or so with the biggest being 3.10lbs. Sunday we fished from sunrise to 11:30 and caught around 25. We got on a good crankbait bite around 10:30 catching several solid 2.5 lb. fish. All in all it was a good time with my brother. We caught lots of fish and lots of keepers. The one thing I did noticed is a lot of the fish look beat up with sores on their body. Is this from the spawn or is this some kind of illness?
  15. RonnieS: That is what they look like when you sitting still and they are right below you. They are more like horizontal lines as opposed to dots. Here is a pic of what they look like when you are moving over them.
  16. Just got back from the Bend. Fished out of pirate's cove Saturday morning and managed to catch about 50 fish or so. All small fish but it was fun. The launch was a zoo with all the camp lizards riding around in their golf carts partying for the holiday. Sunday we stayed more mid lake and caught about 30 11:00 before heading in. All fish caught between 15-25 FOW on c-rig, dropshot and 6XD. Good times. Headed back this coming weekend. Here is a pic I snapped while out there.
  17. Preciate that.
  18. How deep are the fish? Thanks.
  19. Will do. Thanks.
  20. That's fine. I am not real good at "catching" anyway. I want to go sink some brushpiles so I can take the kids catch a few. This leads me to a question. On the road to blue lake there are tons of sweet gum and willow trees in the ditches. Can I legally cut some of the branches to make piles?
  21. Lacassine? My buddy has been struggling out there.
  22. Dang, awfully quiet in here. Anybody fishing anymore? I am hoping to head North this weekend. The boat hasn't seen water since April 7th.
  23. Nice. Did you run across to Housen?
