  1. That seems to be the theme lately. Fish are there but they won't eat. Guess I need to buy some more stuff from tackle warehouse until I find something they want.
  2. He has helped me learn how to find some fish deep. This fall hopefully he will teach me how to catch them, because we didn't catch very many this weekend.
  3. Ok, where to start. I spent Friday in my boat with Josh (Bassfanatic) learning my new units and how to look for bass deep. We had a great time until the weather cut us short. I will say to anyone that struggles with fishing deep and wants to get better that Josh is really good place to start. I had a great time and feel it was well worth it. The first two pics were from Friday with Josh. The other pics were me poking around up north around blue lake. There is also a short video of a copperhead swimming way offshore in 22ft. of water. Nevermind, the video won't upload.
  4. I recognize that spot. ?
  5. I had the navionics + south in my lowrance units and it was adequate for toledo bend. Since my change to humminbirds I now use lakemaster. I have to say lakemaster is 1000X better than navionics on toledo bend.
  6. That would be the one.
  7. What about that super long submerged point on the north side of the mouth?
  8. Just got back from picking up the boat. Yep, still hot as hell.
  9. Heading up in the morning to pick up the boat and bring it south to install new electronics. May fish tomorrow afternoon, but just around the house.
  10. You must have fished early.
  11. I fished yesterday and it felt like I was fishing on the sun it was so hot.
  12. Dang it is quiet in here. Either no one is fishing or they are tight lipped.
  13. Question. Lets say I am idling around looking over deep points in an area and find a school of fish. How long do those fish typically stay there? Do they hang around on that point all summer but position themselves differently on that point, or do they leave all together? I am wondering if it is worth it to go graph and find fish knowing you won't be back up there for a few weeks? Thanks all.
  14. Pas bon. For me......again. Even had trouble catching crappie.
  15. Heading back up there tomorrow afternoon.
  16. Stayed shallow this morning in the back of SM the s morning. Caught around 10 little rats.
  17. Yeah, it sucked. Heading back in your direction tomorrow morning.
  18. Fished this morning from Hamilton bay to south of the bridge on the TX side. C-rig, t-rig, spook, 1oz spinnerbait, football jig, and a crankbait. Caught 2 rats and had maybe 6 bites. Fished from 8ft-30ft. A whole lot of suck. Gonna have to switch it up tomorrow.
  19. Thanks Josh. I have passed on your info. His last name is Clark.
  20. I need some help for a friend. He has a trip planned with Jason Courville next month and wants to book a trip with a different guide too. He is looking for someone that uses their electronics a lot so he can learn more of that. Any suggestions? I know Gleason has a good reputation but any others I should suggest to him? Thanks.
  21. Will do. I heard they are catching some fish all the way in the back of SM. I mean all the way back.
  22. Going pick up my boat today. Hopefully this will be the last time at the shop for a while. Next weekend isn’t looking very good weather wise. Maybe the following weekend I can get up there.
  23. That’s what I am talking about.
  24. Whoa. Did you run it or wait it out?
