  1. Pay to have a local repair done. Shouldn't be much at all
  2. IMO the most dangerous part is navigating the waterwayers safely. For example, currently my local lake had a 8-10 draw down thus making it much more dangerous. But other boaters are always a problem haha. Wish they'd stay off my holes ?
  3. You have some nice reels already, but I would recommend trying the Curado DC, Chronarch MGL, Daiwa Tatula Elite, or the Daiwa Costal TWS. It all depends on which application and weight to balance whichever rod you want it paired with. That's my thoughts. Goodluck.
  4. Conquest over the Zbone without any hesitation for me
  5. My guess is that Quantum thinks the money paid to have people endorse there products are notworth the return they bring in terms of sales. I've never been persuaded to buy a product based on an endorsers name or opinion as they are being paid to back a product which may be good but could also be bad. Hope they make the right decision. Goodluck to Kevin as well
  6. 894C or 873C NRX are the ones I would opt for. The 873C CRR is extremely versatile and great for Carolina rigs, pitching plastics and jigs around docks, etc. The 894C JWR is a phenomenal choice as well. It all depends on how heavy of cover and which lures you intend to throw the most but one of those 2 models for sure. Good to hear that someone is winning in Fantasy Football because I for sure can't hahahahaha.
  7. Should be fine. I think it will be authentic
  8. Seems ok but a few people have brought up authenticity issues. Was the line spooled on the reel nicely and uniformly?
  9. Some people will take the original packing and spool up a cheaper line and sell it for a higher priced line. Such as spooling up Stren as Sniper and selling for $20+ Unfortunately this happens. Compare it to what you see at BPS and see if its the same. It may be 100% authentic but it also may be a fake as some people on the forum have experienced.
  10. Conquest is another option
  11. Where did you buy the Sniper from? Possible you bought fake Sniper... Sniper has also been a great performer for me and I never use line conditioner.
  12. Definitely the NRX! Try and find a used one to match your budget and youll be so happy.
  13. Never had an issue with any knot failures. Most people use braid to a leader. Works like a charm. Easy, effective, and works great.
  14. The 200E7 Curado is an exceptional reel. Depending on the price and condition, they could be a good buy. The biggest issue with them is the resell value of the E series are very high so make sure they are a fair deal and what you want.
  15. MB Flatside is an awesome rod. Great recommendation. My vote is for the MBs.
  16. Megabass Levante is a fantastic rod series. That would be my pick. The jerkbait special is extremely versatile
  17. Owned one previously but wasn't a huge fan of the handle. Sold it to a buddy.
  18. Very true!
  19. I prefer Shimano but love Daiwa too. However, Different strokes for different folks.
  20. You will get a million different opinions. While fluorocarbon does have some downsides associated with it, it's benefits outweigh them IMO. It will be different for everyone. Personal preference.
  21. I tend to prefer 30 lb+ braid for BC setups.
  22. I love the MB Levantes. Other great options are Phenix Feather, St Croix Avid X, and Shimano Zodias.
  23. Sad to see that some people think that cheating, lying, and deception will continue and never be found. Sad as it makes you think that how many records out there are fictitious. Which are truly real? That behavior displayed by Long not only discredits his body of work but also makes Dobyns look bad and any other business he was associated with. Ultimately, all ethical fisherman pay for his behavior as he stole from them and deceived the public.
