Was wondering what you think about the Sunline Reaction FC? Pros/Cons? Looking to maybe use it this year on my cranking rods instead of the Sniper

Best baitcasting rod - For Drop-shotting?
Ah that's a major bummer sorry to hear about that hopefully it will recover. I guess in that case I would definitely look into a reel that has a good drag along with some sort of ML...maybe even a jerkbait type glass rod could be good. The daiwa tatula sv reels might be a solid choice. One of the reasons I think he broke off so much was I was able to have a nice drag with the spinning reel.

FG Knot Issues
Haha exactly there isn't much else to do in the winter. I hope we are on the 3in of snow side of the storm and not the 10in but who knows I'm sure you're like everyone else who listens to the weather man we will believe it when we see it.

Best cranking set up for 10-20ft Crankbaits?
Quantum Tour KVD Cranking rod 7ft 10in. MH with a lews mb speed spool or lews tournament pro in 6:8:1

Hooks
Like everyone else is saying you can definitely drag them and use them for a variety of different techniques or in your case with your buddy in different parts of the water column

New Rod?
Enigma HPT 7ft6in heavy will suit all your pitching and flipping needs

7'8 Medium Heavy Rod.
Sounds like the perfect carolina rig rod or football jig

Jig rod help
Enigma HPT 7ft 6in MH or 7ft 6in H. The MH has better tip but the H would give you more backbone on hook set on a long cast. Unless you're using a braid to fluorocarbon leader then the MH would be fine on a long cast

FG Knot Issues
I've tied it in 20+mpH winds still running the trolling motor. It's not that hard once you learn it I agree 100% and I'm the same way I can tie them in all conditions. Having winter here in MN I spent all last winter learning it and doing it faster

The ultimate best combos for the following techniques
- Best baitcasting rod - For Drop-shotting?
Just don't...... use a spinning rod. I had a partner who used one and his hook up percentage was way lower than a spinning rod - Best baitcasting rod - For Drop-shotting?
