  1. Which braid would you prefer between 65lb Sufix 832 or Sunline FX2 60lb for flippin?
  2. Bummer! That must be why they have the CRANK FC now.
  3. What is your opinion on the Sunline Reaction FC? Pros/Cons? Looking to try it out this year.
  4. Was wondering what you think about the Sunline Reaction FC? Pros/Cons? Looking to maybe use it this year on my cranking rods instead of the Sniper
  5. Ah that's a major bummer sorry to hear about that hopefully it will recover. I guess in that case I would definitely look into a reel that has a good drag along with some sort of ML...maybe even a jerkbait type glass rod could be good. The daiwa tatula sv reels might be a solid choice. One of the reasons I think he broke off so much was I was able to have a nice drag with the spinning reel.
  6. Haha exactly there isn't much else to do in the winter. I hope we are on the 3in of snow side of the storm and not the 10in but who knows I'm sure you're like everyone else who listens to the weather man we will believe it when we see it.
  7. Quantum Tour KVD Cranking rod 7ft 10in. MH with a lews mb speed spool or lews tournament pro in 6:8:1

Like everyone else is saying you can definitely drag them and use them for a variety of different techniques or in your case with your buddy in different parts of the water column
  9. Enigma HPT 7ft6in heavy will suit all your pitching and flipping needs
  10. Sounds like the perfect carolina rig rod or football jig
  11. Enigma HPT 7ft 6in MH or 7ft 6in H. The MH has better tip but the H would give you more backbone on hook set on a long cast. Unless you're using a braid to fluorocarbon leader then the MH would be fine on a long cast
  12. I've tied it in 20+mpH winds still running the trolling motor. It's not that hard once you learn it I agree 100% and I'm the same way I can tie them in all conditions. Having winter here in MN I spent all last winter learning it and doing it faster
  13. The lews super duty are bullet proof
  14. Just don't...... use a spinning rod. I had a partner who used one and his hook up percentage was way lower than a spinning rod
  15. Get yourself an enigma Aaron's Edge 6ft10in medium light for drop shot and an enigma Aaron's Edge 6ft11in medium for shakey heads and whatever else
  16. Do yourself a favor and spend the money on a Quantum Tour KVD Cranking rods. Hands down the best cranking rods out there. Pair that with a lews tournament mb 6:8:1 or some sort of daiwa tatula 6:3:1 and you have one hell of a setup.
  17. Daiwa tatula elite series has a 7ft 1in heavy that's legit. Incredible back bone but has nice soft tip for skipping and making accurate casts.
  18. You could do a lot with that rod. Swim jig, chatterbait, Texas rig, Carolina rig, swim bait, buzz bait and big shakey heads.
  19. EBAY! Best place to buy bulk.
  20. If you go on costas website they have a full color spectrum of what their lenses are intended for.
  21. Nichols florida hammer or jts best color in 3/8.
  22. Nichols are legit. Way better than most spinner baits on the market
  23. If you'e flipping in that shallow of water I don't think color accents play a huge role. Especially if you'e fishing thick weeds. In clear water something green pumpkin with literally any accent will resemble some sort of bluegill or perch. Dirty water that black n blue will stand out. With reaction bites I really don't think color is the issue, rate of fall to me is the biggest factor.
  24. I would go with the bone and loon. Can't go wrong with straight white or black
