I’m pretty sure that the handle lengths are all the same. 90mm.

Thumbbar/Spool Disengage Button Hard To Engage
Just serviced my Curado 200K, now the thumbbar is hard to push down. Any ideas/solutions? I didn’t even take apart that section of the reel, when the button is pressed down, the handle also takes a little longer to turn to engage the spool but not a whole lot. There’s also an occasional knocking sound when the spool is disengaged and is rotating. (This is my first time servicing a reel.)

Tiny hole and you could fill it with glue

Top water poppers without rattles
I don’t know about regular poppers but I have a Booyah Popping Frog that doesn’t have a rattle. Stay away from Booyah’s Cranking/Diving Popper, I bought one and it dives when I try to pop it. You could drill a small hole in your current poppers and glue the rattle components to the inside of the bait.

How do I rig a Senko on an offset worm hook?
- Can I put 30lb line on a 10lb Shakespeare Durango reel and matching rod?
I don’t know anything about mackerel but the drag should probably be tightened all the way.- Can I put 30lb line on a 10lb Shakespeare Durango reel and matching rod?
No, it should be tightened.- Savage Gear Lily Ninja Frogs

I noticed this too. One thing I like is you can tell if you have the brakes too tight by the sound and can adjust.- Same lure, different color mean different density?
It could be off balance too then.- Same lure, different color mean different density?
It could, but I feel like that would be very unlikely, it’s just dye/paint/coloring. I’d compare them side by side, look at the hook, the 3 way swivel along with the snap swivel. I’ve had a frog sink on me before because the snap swivel was too heavy.- Are graphite frames good?
Graphite frames can flex under heavy load, like when fighting a big fish. I wouldn’t be too worried about it, there are different strengths of graphite, and bass don’t get huge. I wouldn’t buy a graphite frames baitcaster for long term use.- baitcasting rod with a spinning reel?
It does, the first guide on your TP-1 acts like a funnel to the microguides. Video explaination at the bottom. http://www.mudhole.com/MicroWave-Spinning-Guides You’re right, heard wrong.- baitcasting rod with a spinning reel?
I’ve had casting rods snap from bending the wrong way- Question...Which normal priced setup casts farther ? Spin or bait ?
Define “normal price”.- baitcasting rod with a spinning reel?
Yeah, if it’s a good rod just get another casting. That $40 could be put toward a decent baitcaster.- baitcasting rod with a spinning reel?
The reel probably needs cleaned unless it’s in really bad condition. The guides on a baitcasting rod are smaller than spinning rods, you’ll lose casting distance and casting/spinning rods are designed to bend a certain way, putting a spinning reel on a casting rod would bend the rod the wrong way and it will snap. I wouldn’t put a spinning reel on a casting rod, you could but I wouldn’t.- Getting Skunked
I fish ponds with few brush and quite a bit of weeds, I don’t have any real confidence baits.- Getting Skunked
I’ve got the original chatterbait in black/blue and yellow, rarely throw it, I overlook it. Thank you.- Getting Skunked
Last year, I fished a wacky rig almost all year, this year it hasn’t been working the few times I’ve tried it. I’ve tried jigs, cranks, poppers, walk the dog, wacky, craw, buzzbaits, flukes, drop shot, in-line spinnerbaits, frogs, lipless cranks, worms and swimbaits. I fish stained water, it’s a nasty shade of green, recently it’s gotten hot(almost 90° today) and windy. I don’t know what to try. I’ve never thrown the Ned rig, I intend to though. I’m also going to try some tubes and maybe spoons. Anyone have any suggestions besides the usual suggestions like the Ned rig, Senko and Trick worm?- What's your confidence lure?
