  1. Looking forward to it
  2. I haven’t heard of Henderson before. Google maps says 34 miles away. Thanks
  3. So I bought a new home in springhill Fl. It will be my retirement home. Does anyone bass fish around there that could help a brother out?
  4. I saw that today. I second that was a great article.
  5. Well written geo and spot on. One thing I have done and this applies to all on this site is I purchased a ResQ emergency beacon. They are not that expensive and could save your life. I too fish the Everglades but also Lake Okeechobee. We all like to buy those expensive rods, reels and high tech electronics but not something that in a true emergency could save you. Think about it. Bought mine on amazon for less that $250. Jmo Good luck Anthony
  6. Flukes right now are doing well. Zara spooks, v worms as well. hope this helps
  7. Fished the big rest area yesterday. Caught some nice fish up to five pounder. Lots of three pounders. Caught all of them on flukes and V Worms.
  8. Good report. Thank you
  9. Great report Mike. Thank you
  10. How did you do? Might check it out this weekend. Heard the water was so high it’s in the parking lot.
  11. Good report thanks
  12. Everglades? I haven’t been out in three weeks. Been traveling. Any hints on baits?
  13. Hey guys it’s been quiet around here. No reports?
  14. You could fish the rim ditch out of Clewiston. Not sure how the canal runs in Okeechobee.
  15. I didn’t do well. But heard 28 pounds won out of clewiston yesterday. I fished out of belle glade
  16. Fishing there tomorrow. Any ideas?
  17. We are in our rainy season now. But this week is really bad. Time to knock out some honey do lists for the better half.
  18. Fish that area with big flukes. Throw in the pads pull out and let it drop. Then watch your line.
  19. She was very aggressive. Came straight at the boat from the pads. For those that fish the trail that was right after the overhead walk bridge.
  20. So some of you remember I spoke about gators in the month of May. Well I fished Tamiami trail. This gator comes out from the grass unprovoked and sits right there as we move along. Clearly she was unhappy I was there. Happened twice yesterday.
  21. Ok guys fished till 1pm. I thought I was going to get rained out. Took out a gentleman from the Wounded Warrior Organization who has never fished the Everglades. We caught over 50 easy. We were catching 2.5 to 3 pounders all day. Better fish came on Magnum Zoom Flukes Watermelon Red. Gators were everywhere. At one point we had two in front and two in the back of us. We just left them alone. Water level is getting very low. Be careful of the rocks. Capt Bob
