  1. Looks great to me!
  2. You need to get out a little more, Pickwick is just south of you, not "International". So, tell us where you are putting in. The lake fishes differently closer to Wilson Dam vs. Pickwick Dam. I fish the entire lake and will be glad to give you some advice.
  3. I am afraid my Broncos will be spending all their time on the Road parked at a rest stop.
  4. My dedicate rig is an Avid AVC66MF with a soft tip.

  6. G.Loomis GLX: MBR842C, MBR844C, OR844C, PR844S, BCR854 and BCR893 St. Croix Avid AVC66MF Legend Elite: LEC70MHF and LES70MF I like them all, but have you considered a custom build? I have two built on Batson Rainshadow blanks, one built by Mr. Batson, the other by our very own ghoti. The ultimate Senko rod built by Mike at DVT and a custom Lamiglas SR705R built by Alpster.
  7. Yes, Grove. I was there yesterday and zeroed, but I watched another regular land and release a 6+.. He was not actually bass fishing and caught her on a crappie jig.
  8. Okay, mine are all older without split grips. On the St. Croix side I have upgrade over the years to the older Legend Elite, but my recollection of the Avids I owned were on par with the G. Loomis IMX.
  9. A friend caught his PB last week. 7.5 lbs, weighed, pictured and released.
  10. I really like the GLX and own a few. I have owned several IMX, but consider the St. Croix Avid a better value at the pricing point.
  11. Another variation for light tackle is a split shot rig.
  12. Rods may be more important for "catching", but great reels make the "fishing" more enjoyable.
  13. Top Secret: Middle arm of the Alabama Rig, no trailer
  14. Take out the little fish and give them away, there are plenty of people that would really enjoy a fish fry!
  15. Our very own Glenn May hooked up with the biggest largemouth I have ever seen in person on a BassResource RoadTrip at Pickwick. The fish was fooled by a Siebert Outdoors Cosmic Spinnerbait, white with double willow silver blades. The lure itself is indestructable, but you still need to check your line and retie occasionally. http://www.siebertoutdoors.com/
  16. Welcome aboard!
  17. Well, I know it's still early, but can anyone post a fishing report about what's working right now? I'm mostly interested in knowing if you are still throwing The Rig?
  18. In expensive: Yo-Zuri Hybrid #6 for spinning gear, #12 for baitcasting More expensive, but what I consider the very BEST: Seaguar Tatsu #8 for spinning, #15 for baitcasting
  19. Well, you might consider buying a spinning reel vs. your spincast. I think you will find this is something you will wish you had done years ago. .
  20. Exactly!
