6Th Sense Crankbaits
The Crush Flat 75X squarebill works - catches fish... X2

Reel Vs. Rod
Well, I am a fan of high quality rods and agree that they "can help increase catch in a variety of ways". However, reels make the "fishing" more fun. I want reels that are VERY user friendly and perform flawlessly.

Having Success With Bladed Jigs
Fish them as an alternative to a spinnerbait. Sometimes nothing more than a steady retrieve works great. Another suggestion is ticking the bottom with an occasional pop. My main rigging is with a white skirt and a white Rage Structure Bug. I have also had great luck removing the skirt and using the Rage Tail Cut-R as a trailer.

Monofilament Vs Copoly
Hybrid #6 has a breaking strength of 11.9 lbs. As Choporoz noted, any kink is a weak spot. The fluorocarbon component in the line can crack, but with any line you must be diligent in checking the line for cuts and abrasions.

Rage Twin Tail Menace : Favorite Ways To Rig ?
Rig it vertically on a Rage Blade. Another option that worked well for me last weekend was T-rigged: http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/163835-its-on-at-pickwick/

Monofilament Vs Copoly
Yo-Zuri Hybrid works for everything. If you want to get more technique specific, use monofilament for treble hooks.

Getting A Crank Bait
My go-to square bill is the Norman Fat Boy (redear pattern) You need a couple of KVD Red Eye Shad, too. One should be blue & silver. Another suggestion is 6th Sense Crush Flat 75X

Chili Cook-Off Results
I use to make chili hot, but most people, including my wife and kids would not eat it. So, it thought I really knew "hot" until a couple of years ago when I was introduced to the ghost pepper. http://nypost.com/2015/08/04/eating-ghost-peppers-could-kill-you/
