If the cost is not an issue, Seaguar Tatsu is THE BOMB!

Drop Shot Into Suspended Bait Balls
Drop shot is not the ticket for the situation you describe. Better alternatives are flutter spoons for vertical jigging, deep diving crankbaits and the Alabama Rig. There is a VERY good chance you may find stripers hunting those shad. In January of 2008 (?) I caught my PB striper on Beaver Lake.

Road To The Super Bowl!
Yep, it looked like the Broncos didn't have a chance. I hope Gronkowski will be able to return. He seems to be a solid citizen and one of the best tight ends to have ever played the game.

What Size Spinning Reel For Shakey Head, Spybait, Ect.
Shimano 2500 is a grerat all-around reel, but if you want something "technique specific" I much prefer the 1000 for lighter presentations.

Fall Baits
Jerkbait Rage Tail Menace, T-rigged (bullet weight) GYCB Kreature, T-rigged, skirt forward Norman Fat Boy (square bill) I start with moving baits searching for the right depth. Points, the mouth of creeks and any structure is what I would target.

Help I'm Retiring
The very best thing to do is to hire a guide. Tell him that you want to catch some fish of course, but more importantly, you would like him to show you things to look for when you are on the water.
