  1. "plowable" That's clever!
  2. You owe it to yourself to own the GLX and see what all the hype is about!
  3. No issues with the guides. I don't have this particular model, but I have recoil guides on a BCR893 and BCR854.
  4. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
  5. Brady is amazing, but I don't think he can do it all by himself. Two to go.
  6. Is the bait a prototype or currently available?
  7. Looks too cold to me. I like the chilli the best!
  8. Run the hook from the top through the body so that the bait is straight. Fished alone, I rig the tail flat or horizontal; as a trailer vertical like a baitfish. It's important that the Menace be uniform, not bunched up.
  9. I have a CTE200GT for sale in the Flea Market.
  10. The bridesmaid deserves to win one. I'm routing for Aaron Martens.
  11. I understand "beating the spread" when you are betting, but that doesn't have anything to do with advancing in the play-offs. Right now it's one and done.
  12. This weekend's picks: Seahawks, Patriots, Panthers and Broncos
  13. You need to try the MegaStrike Shak e2 Professional Series http://www.megastrike.com/#!products/vstc2=shake2-heads
  14. If the cost is of not concern, #6 Tatsu, Otherwise, #10 InvizX.
  15. I agree pretty much with A-Jay, especially with line size match-ups. For the lighter rigs I prefer NOT using a leader. For braid on heavier set-ups I am stil undecided and therefore using a leader on some and direct ties on a couple. My preferred connecting knot is the Alberto.
  16. Well, honestly I have not fished the Puppy in several years, but if you are just interested in numbers I consider this THE BEST lure of its kind out there.
  17. My first and only event was a two day tournament with a random draw for partners. As luck would have it I drew the club's Angler Of The Year. He won this tournament, too! I rode down with another member, otherwise I would have left Saturday afternoon. One and done. On a brighter note, i fish a charity tournament or two with REAL friends every year. We fish the same way we fish any other weekend and have fun. This year we had hourly weighins and I won $100 which I donated back to St. Judes.
  18. I like that answer!
  19. Skill dominates the most challenging task: Finding the fish!
  20. I didn't see the show, but heard about it. I coached/ managed a lot of sports teams when my kids were involved. I NEVER witnessed any of that and would not have put up with it if I had. I have friends who manage or referee "competative" leagues and they have NEVER seen any of that crap either. Our worst experinces have ALWAYS been with the parents!
  21. Well Sam, we have a lot of teams in the SEC that "expect to win" every game. I would like Missouri to embrace that philosophy down the road. One season doesn't establish a pattern, but it's a start!
  22. So, you pay $25 for one day plus maybe splitting the gas and bring lunch? The boater bought the boat, maintains the boat, stores the boat, hauls the boat and probably cleans the boat. I think that's a great deal for YOU, not so much for the boater.
