  1. Much has been written:
  2. Buying a $40 combination is a TOTAL waste of money.
  3. Saturday's fish is one that lives by the "No Swimming" sign. Yesterday's Walmart Girl was new! I caught her between the sign and the first culvert, in open water.
  4. Most big bass are caught between 10:00 and 2:00. Generally, the midday bite is better on "bottom baits", specifically soft plastics and jigs.
  5. "Just Getting Started" Guaranteed To Catch Bass I just cant catch bass Learning to fish on your own Spend some time reading through "Fishing Articles" at the top of the page. Our library is extensive!
  6. The RoadTrip would be a great choice! http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/102156-2013-roadtrip-youre-invited/
  7. Black with blue flecks
  8. Keitech Swing Impact Fat, Shadalicious, Hollow Belly and GYCB Swimming Senko.
  9. Great morning on a local pond. I caught a nice fish yesterday, but that was my only bite. Today I rigged up a Lobster on a new Moaner prototype. I think it's still top secret, but you guys are going to like it when the rig is released! Again today, the fishing was slow, two hours without a bite. On what was going to be my last cast, BAM! I know this pond and you can't get hung in the spot I was fishing. My reaction was quick and forceful. The result was exhilarating - the fish didn't move! Man, I knew from the get-go this was a nice fish. The fat girl tried to run to deeper water, then changed her mind and came roaring up and out of the water. By now I had a small audience, so she came up again for an encore! One bite, one monster...exactly the kind of fishing I dream of.
  10. I have my Curado 50E on another rig, so I use it quite a bit. However, I still agree with the premise, the Core is VERY special!
  11. Welcome aboard!

  13. I think it is complex. My strong suit is soft plastics, but it took me 2 years to learn how to fish a jig. Today, I fish a jig even when I KNOW a soft plastic would be a better choice! I recommend fishing NOTHING but a jig on selected outings in order
  14. Hey! I love the Square A, but the Norman Fat Boy is VERY similar and the Redear color has been my most productive crankbait, period!
  15. Corgie http://www.google.co...iw=1280&bih=933 Mine is second row on the right, black, tan & white.
  16. Weightless most of the time. Otherwise, split shot rig. I never fish a fluke with a weighted hook. The presentation is "dart & float".
  17. Nice review! After experimenting with a number of lines for the past 18 months, I'm back to Yo-Zuri for almost everything except my jig rod, The Rig and jerkbaits. I recommend #6 for spinning tackle; #12 for baitcasting gear. I ALWAYS us KVD Line & Lure Conditioner.
  18. I have ben experimenting with a lot of different lines for the past 18 months or so. After all that, I'm back to Yo-Zuri for everything except jigs and The Rig (Sufix 832). With regard to fluorocarbon lines, this is how I rate my "experimental" lines: #1 Tatsu is THE BOMB! #2 Seaguar AbrazX #12 for baitcasting; InvizX #10 for spinning tackle I haven't tried Vicious since it was first introduced and the experience was very disappointing. Based on Big O's recommendation, I will give it another try.
  19. Once again, she's a beauty!
  20. Yo-Zuri Hybrid Spinning tackle: #6 Baitcasting: #12
  21. OUTSTANDING!
