  11. TN smallmouth are generally larger and occasionally MUCH larger. A few years ago my guide, Tim "hotdawg" Curtis, and his friend came over to Pickwick for two days. I put them both on Personal Bests, 7.4 lbs and 6.75 lbs. For numbers you don't need to travel. However, your chances for a 6+ are much greater on the Tennessee River. I recommend November when the weather is more consistent and the big girls have the feed bag on! November is still autumn in the Mid South.

  18. Got lucky with the weather and the fish! My brother and I caught over 100 smallmouth, 6 walleye and a dozen largemouth. The brown bass were all 2-3 lbs and my biggest green bass was around 4 lbs. Caught a few on the GYCB Kreature, but the vast majority were caught on a Gitzit.
