Hey RW!
Regardless of the team records, this weeknd's match-up is always a big game. If the Broncos win, they can turn their season back around. Both teams REALLY need to win this game for confidence and momentum. GO BRONCOS! 8-)

whats the best type of line
8 lb Trilene is just fine for bass fishing.

Line color choices and uses
No. BPS (online only) had 1/8 lb spools on clearnece for $4.98 and 1/4 lb spools for $5.98 or something close. I bought a couple of spools of #6 and #12 which has worked out just fine, but I also threw away two spools of #4. In the future, I'm not willing to gamble with line dependability. It's not worth it to me.

Line color choices and uses
Hmm... I have commented before that fluorocarbons and Yo-Zuri Hybrid "never get old". I was wrong... I will NEVER buy clearance line again.

favorite fluke?
The original Slug-Go for me. 8-)

Split Shotting Plastics
Try a couple of different size trick worms. I like the GYCB 6 1/2" Kut Tail, but the Zoom trick worm is easier to find. 8-)

Loomis MBR843C and MBR844C IMX ?
The guides might be the same. The blanks, I think, incorporate different resins. If you are willing to spend the $ for a LITTLE more sensitivity, go with the GLX. If you buy the IMX and you can afford the GLX, you will always wish you had stepped up. 8-)

Might Become a B-ball Fan
Memphis has possibly the best recruiting class in the nation coming up next year. Although this year has been generally written off as a "rebuilding" year, the Tigers lost to #1 ranked Kansas last night. by only two points. Even die-hard Rock Chalk Jawhawk fans might admit, Memphis cooda-wooda-shooda won that game! On the other hand, 35% shooting from the field isn't going to cut it. You just wouldn't think, with those numbers, the game would be so close. 8-)

Line color choices and uses
Green (original Hybrid), especially in smaller diameters, matches up almost perfectly in gin clear water. You cannot see #4 and barely see #6. Even #12 is VERY stealthy! In stained water, which is what I mostly fish, smoke or purple smoke is what I recommend. In stained water, any size is virtually invisible. 8-)

WHERE WILL BE THE NEXT WORLD RECORD SMALLMOUTH BASS
"Possible" would be a better description. 7, 8s and 9s aren't "common" anywhere in the world. 8-)

Shaky Head for Nov smallies?
I like the 3/8 oz Evolution Shake2 jig head rigged with a GYCB 6 1/2" Kut Tail. Let it fall to the bottom and sit for a minute. Reel down and lift your rod tip from 8:00 to 12:00, falling on slack line. Let the Kut Tail sit for at least 10-15 seconds, then repeat. Continue until you feel you are out of the zone. Note: The Kut Tail will stand straight up on the Shake2 jig. Occasionally, just shake the bait while it's sitting, without moving it forward. 8-)

offshore structure
The perfect solution for bottom clutter. Another is baits/ lures that don't accumulate much gunk. Try a GYCB Kreature in place of a jig. T-rig the Kreature, skirt forward, with a 1/8- 1/4 oz barrel weight and a 4/0 Gamakatsu Offset Worm Hook. Drop it to the bottom, then retrieve like a spinnerbait: steady retrieve with an occasional jerk. http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1180909581 8-)

Loomis MBR843C and MBR844C IMX ?
The G.Loomis IMX and St. Croix Legend Elite series are very comparable. Although my MBR844C is GLX, I owned the same IMX rod. I also own a MBR842C, BCR854, St. Croix ES70MF and EC70MHF. My recommendations are the G.Loomis MBR 843 & 844. The MBR844 is my favorite rod. 8-)

Lucky Craft Lures
The Pointer 128 is my favorite lure, the 100 a close second. I think they are worth the full list price, but with some effort you can find them at better prices. The most I have paid is around $13, the least was $5. 8-)
