  1. Mounted my charger flat on deck level below your original mounting spot.I don't feel it's a bad spot. Was also thinking about putting fuel tank on port side, but I drive boat and Iam 70 lbs heavier than my dad,and being used to knowing how to load a boat with 1000's of lbs of ice and fish I have not noticed any list.boat is very stable.
  2. Minn kota,look on walmart.com it was about $68 last i looked.amazing deal usually $150,better jump on it.may even be a $25 rebate.
  3. Just mounted charger in battery compartment on port side as far forward as i could get it.Looks like a good spot to me.Drilled holes and used stainless screws.
  4. Took boat out for second trip.oil leak totally fixed, ran like a top and not a drop of oil.so smooth and fast.Ran trolling motor 6 hours and still had 70% battery life left.Love this boat so much, don't know how I lived this long without it.First foot control trolling motor, but getting the hang of it,so much easier fishing into the wind.Water was high and 47 degrees, but I caught 3 on a jig and rage craw. She's no longer a virgin.First of many.Did I mention I LOVE MY BOAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  8. They ran motor for about a minute or 2,must not have been enough to notice anything.good news is still had over 2 quarts oil left so should not have done any damage.feels amazing having boat back and problem identified/solved.now just waiting for better weather to go fishing.real pressure is on for my dad, son, and me for the distinction of first bass to be landed on new boat, can only happen once.
  9. Going to pick my boat up.One of the bolts for the fuel pump was backed almost all the way out causing bad oil leak.Just a freak thing I guess.hope you all have better luck.
  10. I have been a commercial fisherman for 23 years on a 58 foot boat so I don't consider myself a noob.Boat safety, maintenence,etc..,is my life.I have an experienced ear for listening to my engine.Have broke in cummins marine diesel's amongst others, most of my life has been spent on a boat.guess what Iam trying to say is this was not any user error.New outboards should not leak oil, period.
  11. Dropped boat off yesterday, hopefully they get to it quick.had it 3 days now its gone kinda sucks but that's life I guess.Hope no one else has problems.Still, love my boat that's why I want it back so bad.

  14. Just took boat out for break in,followed instructions to a T.tied back up to dock ,noticed oil slick, pulled boat out and could see oil oozing out.thought it was lower unit then popped top off engine and could see oil around, checked oil was almost out.super bummed.not trying to scare anyone.best day ever turned upside down.boat performed awesome to,halls some serious butt and rides beautifully.just hope they honor warranty and i didnt do to much damage.was looking forward to first day of fishing now i just dont know how to feel.
