Does anyone think that Storm lures are any good?

I don't think they would fown on using the motor if your trolling motor was dead!

I am in need of two replacement trolling batteries. I have a Minn Kota Maxxum 24 volt 65lb trolling motor. I am looking for any sugguestions! I have a 14ft v-hull boat and usually fish in a reservoir with little current but live very close to the Potomac.

I have the same reel and thoroughly enjoy it. I also have two stradics that are very nice.

Has anyone used this line? What is your opinion? I wanted to use the Yozuri Ultra soft but I am fishing tomorrow and could not find it locally. I have 12 lb test used on a spinning reel.

I agree with RW. I have as much fun fishing with my four year old using her $12.00 Barbie fishing pole asI do with my more expensive poles. I know many people that outcatch me using cheaper equipment. For me fishing is getting away from my hectic worklife. It is a time to decompress and enjoy the things that really matter like friends and family.

That 12 point buck looks like the ten pound bass that Roland Martin catches! ;D

Welcome Aboard! I just purchased two new Avids an absolutely love them. I can tella world of difference in the quality of my new roads compared to the old ones. Be careful with this site as it has happily seperated plenty of cash from my wallet. The bait monkey keeps calling my name.

Yozuri Hybrid Ultra Soft.

My wife bought me a Pfluger Supreme spinning reel. I have a question regarding line capacity. Is it advisable to use a heavier line than is recommended. I wanted the ten pound model but I certainly don't need 250 yard capacity to bass fish. Can I use a smaller model with heavier line?

Nice fish, my PB smallie is only 3lbs. The next time I get to go fishing on the Susquhenna I hope to beat my PB. The fishing conditions were tough the only time I have gome fishing for smallies. It was after the spring floods near Harrisburg earlier in the Spring.
