I just received my 2 St. Croix rods and have paired them with Stradic spinning reels. I am looking for some input on which lines to use. Both reels are Stradic 2500's and will be used for bass fishing. Any help would be appreciated.

Why not purchase a Shimano Stradic 2500 at Dick's (unadvertised) for $80.00!! The price shows 119.00 but it rings up $99.00 - $20.00 sale for a total of $79.00.

Congrats! I am teaching my four year old daughter to fish and she is becoming a maniac. She meeting me every morning with either let's go fishing or let's watch fishing. I am learning patience slowly but surely. I don't get to fish as much as I like but the payoff will be in a few years. I will have a fishing companion since her mom acts like she is allergic to fish!

I just bought two Avids today and I am putting Stradics with them.

Can anyone tellme where I can purchase this color line?

I looked high and low at Dick's for the Avid deal but to no avail. I ended up buying the St. Croix® Avid Series Rod - Spinning - AS66MHF (119.26) and the St. Croix® Avid Series Rod - Spinning - AS66MF (119.26) from BPS. I wanted the 7 foot rods but had to settle for the 6'6' ones. I hope you approve RW. I was trying to buy on your recommendation. I am now looking for the reels to match. I was thinking Shimano Symetre or Stradic. I am looking for recommendations! I will be fishing for LMB in northern Virginia. Any help would be appreciated.

I think last years Evinrude commercial (I think) was the funniest one I have seen. It had the two guys in the boat where one of their hats blew of and the fat driver bent over in his pink thongs! ;D

I recommend Fishing on the edge!

I believe that they get conditioned on heavily pressured lakes. When on a pressured lake I throw ols school baits and have good success.

I have a expensive rod that I have never used that needs to be repaired. I left it on my porch and a da*n squirell at ethe cork handle. Anyone know about how much it would cost?
