  1. I think the hard plastic would cut them being they are tight around it
  2. I agree also it gets brittle past 7 .And graphite /composites are really durable but still have enough sensitivity for wormin and jiggin especially with braided lines.With the new superlines and sharp hooks now days you really dont need anything more then im 6 IMO
  3. I have a few lightning rods the new ones they aint bad for 34 bucks i prefer the pistol grips

  6. i buy in bulk for saltwater i dont need very soft plastics there so i use hurricane plastics then they are durable and cheap.Bass ,crappie,bluegill i use manns ,zoom and culprits a lot they are softer so i buy accordingly then

I use the metal framed 33 classic not made in USA any more it holds up good for a beater but still smooth and realiable 8 lb test makes it cast smoother and further i tried braid but the drag didnt work very good so i put some 8 lb maxx on it its fine so far.Mine got dragged by my 4 wheeler for a good 5 minutes through sticks and leaves and had no problems when i got to wear i was fishing

My buddy was doing this and his dumb arse had a cable instead of rope on the pully .Him bein a cheap skate the cable was rusted and all well he got a nice 3 inch scare between his eyes and had to be flown out to shock trauma it broke his nose his bridge and part of his forehead and left a nice little bubble on his brain for a few weeks

A few hooks in fingers not so bad now anyway BUT when i was about 14 i fell down a bank and a stupid sappling that beavers had cut the yr before was nice and dried out and hard it went about 3 inches into my thigh didnt even no it was that bad till about 10 mins later it filled up my pants leg with blood and didnt stop .ER trip they flushed it out with some stuff that made me cry my arse off Im very careful now but they say if u aint having accidents u aint having fun ;D
  10. That knob isnt your drag thats ur cast control ;D ,if it is tightened to far it makes it hard to turn the handle

I Like Zooms they have all you really need .... between Pros and amatuers fisherman/women i think they prob hold records with most widley fished plastic on earth.hall of fame lure if u ask me if you think your u tale is too skinny buy the gator tail same lenght but way thicker IMO they work better for me then GYCB baits but then again maybe im fortunate seems all my life i have fished places where fish were aggressive 97% of the time

I keep my stock piles in rubbermaid contianers ,I keep stuff like berkley,and manns in the bag they reek but all my zooms and culprits are in plano boxes sorted by color and size i tend to have a stuff open that i use most but i keep it all in bags as long as i can,becareful of manns baits i dont no what it is but if i touch one worm my hands are ruined for 2 days no matter what or how many times i wash um bad taste and great smell
  13. Abu has a lot of new reels coming out soon based on the Revo style frames they even have a 49 dollar one with 5 bearings a saltwater STX version and a premier version thats only 6.5 oz ............all kinds of goodies i think a total of 6 new reeels

  15. For flippin i usaully go with a 1/2 oz jig in blue with a zoom chunk in brown BUT if im flippin to isolated stumps i might flip a t-rigged zoom lizard in black with a blue tail

Make sure the place you fish has bass in it .I could post yall a picture of a pond that looks so BASSSSY you would think u was in heaven it is ...void of fish Muskrats got into the bank of the pond and one night it busted after a big rain all the fish went downstream its a small pond only about 1/2 acre if that >i tried to get the woman to restock it but she is looney i guess she asked me when i asked her to put fish in the pond the state will do it free "what pond" i left aint been back :'(

  21. I think a lot of people use braid,fireline with heavy ACTION rods lots don't no if u switch to med or med light rods it is easier on the braid and the reel and u have less break-offs another forum i read the guys swear by fireline for surf-fishing
  22. YA ospreys are dominate down here in St Marys county also there are nest almost everywhere there could be a nest .A few ponds i fish have bald eagle pairs also as many of them as i see. I'm surprised they ain't off the endangered species list.Ospreys and bald eagles are truly beautiful birds
  23. I use PP for grass in 12 lb test diamater 30 lb test ,but then again i only fish grass about 1% of the time 8-)
