yea this is only my first year using them but they do seem to produce very nice fish, an the ones that you catch always put up a good fight , none of that swim right up to the shore/boat mess ;D

well guys..i went out again today from about 3:30 to 6:45.the wind was blowin about 10-15 right in my face an i didnt have a bite until the wind shifted an was blocked by the woods to my right.i was casting a golden shiner colored BPS XPS tri vibe crank an had a hit.set the hook an nothing.the very next cast i hooked into a 1.14 pound bass with alot of fight in em.just two cast later i had another strike an it was a slightly larger fish. i couldnt weigh him but judging by the size of his mouth he was larger than the last.probably a little over a pound.then on my very next cast a large fish struck the lure an fought for about 2 minutes.when i fisrts grabbed him i guess him to be 3 pounds.when i put him on the scale he ended up being just shy of 3 at 2.12 pounds, still a nice fish by my standards,he was about 17 inches.about an hour or so later i was casting a gold chatterbait intto a little side pond that is connected tot he main pond by a dith. i saw two nice sized fish swimin in there an had one hit but the lure came out when i set the hook.after not gettin any hits i changed the retrieve an reeled for a few cranks then let it fall an repeted on about my fifth cast the bigger of the two bass cae an hit it.i had loosened the drag n he put up one heck of a fightwhen i finally got him in i weighed him in at 2.11 took a pic an released it, he was about 18 inches 2.12 on crank bait 2.11 on chatterbait

well if a nuclear bomb had gone of within several miles of your house or if their was a nuclear threat i belive i would be staying home that day....besides its just a tv show, noone really expects this have any truth to it
  11. that is insane
  12. well the O's are lookin pretty good against the tigers..hopfully it will stay that way
  13. i use spinning gear as well but i dont like baitcasting reels...for some reson or another it is just to unfamiliar to me an it is hard for me to lean.ive tryed my uncles before an its just really awkward...however one thing spinning has ove baitcasting fro ym observations are that my spinning reels get tangled more often but its less of a hastle to undo.but my uncle has to spend forever trying to fix his bait caster the few times it happens
  14. make sure that your line is always tight when your reeling in.if it is slack it will go onto the reel very loosely and for sum reason or another make a "birds/rats nest"
  15. is there another shallow area to the pond....because i fish a small pond too between 5-10 acreas (hard to tell ,,alot of unaccesable areas) and one year they were in front of my cousins house witch is right by the pond an then the next year they went to the opposite end of the pond to another shallow area
  16. as far as the cajun line goes it alll depends on the water depth. i personally have never fished with it and wont because i fish shallow water.i have read an seen on the tv that the line doesnt work as great in shallow water because red doesnt filter out until 12-15 feet deep.any shallower than that an it is still visible.and probably doesnt work as great.
  17. ok dont get me wrong here because i would pay a due with pleasure...however i think that it would be difficult for me to pay it because i am 14 and dont have a job to get the needed money.and there are probobly quite a few other ppl that wouldnt be able to pay the due bacause of age or other reasons.i dontt know fo any way around that but i would sure love the help improve the site
  18. I was thinking the same thing! However, if you add an "S" to the end of it, it means something entirely different! ;D LMFAO...o god here we go :
  19. jez man do those fish ever stop biting???
  20. i agree..that fish would shatter the current state record for delaware
  21. if im not mistaken i belive that KVD is big on using the red hooks on his spinnerbaits
  22. PM stands for private message.in case you want to talk to another member or ask them a question personally with out the rest of the site seeing it
  23. on may 23 im goin to see godsmack with my friend in uppar darby PA
  24. LOL very funny and intersting as well....good find
  25. the reason for this is because the red line is supposed to be fished at depths below 12 feet....all colors are eventually filtered out at certian depths under water.for red this depth is 12-15 feet depending on water clarity...the red hooks arent targeted for baits that run deep an if you fish deep you wont have success due to this resion because it isnt visible anymore
