Lol that's how my dad palms his reels

So I recently ordered a Curado K from American Legacy Fishing, it arrived and looked great but no matter how I spool it the line always piles up more on one side. I don't think it's a user error as I've spooled countless baitcaster without any issues. And I'm also not getting the distance you'd expect from a $200 reel, my Tatula out performs it with every bait I've tried. Any advice on how to fix this issues would be greatly appreciated!

Daiwa Fuego CT, phenomenal reel for what you're paying. I got mine for $45 With an eBay code. Would buy again 10/10!

Senkos, jigs, and crankbaits.

I am divided between the Curado K and Okuma Helios. I'll be using these reels as an all around reel. It'll be paired with a 7' medium rod. What are your experiences with these reels? I'd love to hear some of your guys experiences with them.

7'3 mh fast action rod with a Daiwa Tatula ct type-r. With 40 pound braid. I think this is a pretty strong combo? Most certainly bringing a camera! My goal is to catch one of these beasts before the year ends!
