No less than 30lb on casting. If lower you usually start running into issues

What Was Your Favorite One On Saturday Morning?
@the reel ess - Yes sir, most of the pits were found in the middle of cow fields after they had strip mined it. Perfect conditions to grow Big Fla bass. Bill was wise to that and used it to his advantage and for that I applaud him! My dad and uncle helped managed some cattle and fixed and ran fence for several ranchers and that's how we gained access. We were the only ones who had permission to fish them. Oh the story's and memories I have from those pits, most wouldn't believe them ? After going back to visit family over the years the cow fields are subdivisions (housing) and the ponds/lakes are growed over. That's progress though

- What’s your go to lure for bed/spring fishing first thing in the morning?
Easy, prop bait. Throw it over the bed and let it sit. Twitch-twitch SLOW. Then I go to softbaits.- Single or double colorado spinnerbait
From central Fla to South Ga, this is my favorite. Rip that white skirt of and put this one. Absolute top producer for me. I fish mainly tannic water and am looking to imitate bluegills and rebdreast. Gold blades or bronze both work.- Braid to fluorocarbon leader best small knot
- MLF confusion
@N Florida Mike big Shaw Grigsby fan here to mike!- Rod Socks - Sell me on them.
You spend hard earned money on rods, why risk damaging eyes in transportation when you can slap a 4$ rod sock and help prevent it- Bass fishing myths
No such thing as clear braid, I use braid and mono. On spinning I use braid-mono leader I fish tannic, stained, muddy water. I'm not worried about fish seeing my line as much as guys who fish crystal clear waters up north. I do however believe that line size and type does play a part in some situations, I'd be a fool to deny that. Watch how often pros change line types depending on their location. It matters. My parts, it dont Also dont be afraid of fishing leaders, if you learn to tie a good knot, it wont fail you. I tie the Alberto knot for my leaders and have never had a failure- Best mono as leader
Because braid is more resistant to wind knots etc.. because of lack of memory.- California Spring
Go to heatshrink, you'll thank yourself for all the worms you save. Totally worth it- DIY Portable Livewell

Yes, truck bed. I have a 120qt cooler I'm using. Is spray bar better than bubbler? I know ice the water down so it's cold and use water from the pond I catch them out of. Me and a buddy can legally keep 20 bass greater than 12" which is perfect.- DIY Portable Livewell
I have permission from landowner, but thanks. ? I do plan on only keeping in my possession what the state of Ga legally allows- Recommendations for a Flippen and pitching Rod Bait caster
I use 7'3 Heavy Duckett Ghost, 100$ Use other 100$ and buy 8:3:1 SLX Spool it up with 65lb Power Pro and have a tough, budget friendly, dependable combo.- Bass Pro Tour – Lake Okeechobee, FL
I flip a t-rig senko. Like Mike said, probably a 1/2oz tungsten pegged in the lighter areas. Not neccessary a 1.5oz. Doesn't take much- DIY Portable Livewell
So I've seen a few builds on YouTube and various websites. But does anyone on here have and tips, tricks, pointers, and preferences to building one and keeping bass alive? I have several private ponds that are overstocked that need some attention bad. Catch 20 or so 12" bass in just over an hour. Quality has went down big time. I either bank fish or jon boat fish these ponds so hence the need for portable livewell. Well another Big pond close to my house had the d**n bust this year and drained it completely. Owner is too cheap to restock it so I have permission to stock it myself. So I need to transport bass and keep them alive and healthy. Ponds are all within 30mins of each other. So tips to keep em alive and building a livewell are more than welcome- Bass Pro Tour – Lake Okeechobee, FL
