There is a lot of places to fish near Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. I use to go up there fishing a lot but since the fire, I am not even sure the places are accessible. I am looking at gettting a new dropshot rod and have been looking at the Daiwa Steez AGS 7' ML Fast. Does anybody have any experience with this rod? Truly looking for a NRX alternative for dropshot. Curious to how it compares to others in terms of sensitivity such as the NRX, MB Destroyer USA, K2, etc. Thanks!

I would recommend not making any early moves on rods/reels. There are a ton more surprises expected. Wait until after ICAST. You will thank me later. ?

Never tried Sunline Armilo. Is it noticeably better than Stren or Trilene XL?

How often do you recommend a basic cleaning? Cleaning the spool shaft, worm gear, etc

I have never reapplied the sealer as I have heard additional coats aren't necessary. I am interested to hear other peoples methods of applying U40
