Shimano Bantam vs Met
? Not sure I agree here either... Anyways, do what floats your boat. Yes, you are correct. What I have found is the Met MGL and Met DC are not decided for resistance baits (big spinnerbaits, crankbaits, chatterbaits, etc) as well as locked drag with braid. I find that is what does the most damage to them and causes them to be geary. I too have them and have no issues at all.

Specific jig rod help
EXPRIDE!?

Gloomis rod that might double as frog, pitching, heavy crank
Yep. 884 is the way to go. Much better than the 844 for the application. You'll be happy with the 884 and not look back as TigerBassAU suggested.

Megabass Levante 2019 or Orochi XX Casting
Yes I would take the jump to the XX unless you aren't a fan of the full cork grips. But yes the XX will be overall more responsive/sensitive than the Levante. The Jerkbait Special is a versatile rod that can handle topwater, jerkbaits, small crankbaits, and even some finesse jigs. It's a great rod!

Ultimate heavy cover 6 inch senko rod
Exactly. The NRX rods are phenomenal and you can't go wrong with them as they are great bottom contact rods.

Ultimate heavy cover 6 inch senko rod
Jan 20 is next year as I said... Plus, 6 inch senkos are a big bait and if fishing around cover or structure you'll want the power of a 844, 854, 873. The TV and Perfect Pitch are a good value choice though

Ultimate heavy cover 6 inch senko rod
He said they have the means and like high end gear. So let them buy what they like. GLX 844C MBR, GLX/NRX 854C JWR, or NRX 873C CRR would all be phenomenal. That rod is not in production.... They aren't even going to available for sale until next year

ALX IKOS Vs Dobyns Sierra
My experience was the same. I'd opt for the Sierra.

ALX IKOS Vs Dobyns Sierra
I'd go with what you are familiar with. Go for Dobyns.

Best budget fluorocarbon
I've heard a couple people try it. Interesting though

Best budget fluorocarbon
I agree personally. I use Sniper, Invizx, Gamma Edge, Tatsu. But I know people who like Red Label. Retying won't help if you tie improper knots though. Double check how to tie a proper knot that works well with fluorocarbon

Best budget fluorocarbon
I have no issues at all and most of the yellowfin tuna fisherman that I've been with out of Venice, La all use Seaguar fluorocarbon. Mexican Gulf Fishing Company and Voodoo Fishing Charters, and weve landed 150-200+ yellowfin and caught plenty of nice 8-10+ lb bass. I personally would double check how you tie knots as it's key to success with fluorocarbon. I think you are tying bad knots.

Best budget fluorocarbon
Much better sensitivity is its advantage with its lower coefficient of drag is just one but there are a couple other advantages. Make a decision whether its worth it. A lot of people seem to love fluorocarbon and braid especially if you know how to use it and make the best use of it. Every line has its advantages and disadvantages, accept them and move on.. Buy fluorocarbon in a bulk spool so you get your price per yard to where you'd like.

G Loomis popping rod. Good for bass tecniques?
I'd stay with MBR

Shimano 17 Scorpion DC
Curado DC. Easy decision

Your favorite baitcaster between $200-300
Definitely go with a Shimano or Daiwa. No comparison as they are the best

Considering trying flouro
Never used line conditioner and I throw super fc, sniper, invizx, tatsu, and gamma. No problems at all. I am aware of Gammas line diameter but I wasn't evaluating any line by diameter so no idea what that reference was to.
-
Considering trying flouro
Line conditioner is not needed. But is beneficial on higher memory lines due to the stiffness. I don't use line conditioner on Tatsu, Sunline Super FC, Seaguar Invizx, Gamma Edge, and a couple others. Yes tatsu is among the top fluorocarbon lines in terms of sensitivity. Shooter, Sniper, and Tatsu are among the best. In terms of overall best lines Gamma Edge and Seaguar Tatsu reign supreme.

Tatula sv vs slx dc
Both are among the best reels at that price point. No need for buyers remorse. Shimano and Daiwa are the top companys for a reason.

Buying used rods and reels
I'd recommend not buying used gear as most companies the warranty is to only the original owner. IMO buy new and buy the best you can afford

Garmin 106SV Ultra (Garmin Advice)
That would be so awesome if you could. Ultimately, I just want reassurance. They are expensive so I was hesitant until I hear how people like them

Garmin 106SV Ultra (Garmin Advice)
Can you easily locate fish on DI and SI? Do you have any pictures? Thanks again buddy

Sniper FC too much memory
Invizx has more stretch and is much more supple. Sniper is more abrasion resistant and has more memory. I can tell personally but it's almost all I use.
