I’m throwing the whopper plopper 90 and wondering what size line I should be using? I’m currently using 10lb power pro braid.

I have recently switch to braid line I am using 10lbs line was wonder if it can break my rod?

I’m going to go fish the hocking river in Ohio Friday and I always see a bunch of gar and want to try and catch one what’s the best lures to use for them?

I’ve thrown it on my 6’8 mojo but like to just use that setup for wacky style

So do you think the mlxf rod would be alright for that?

Has anyone use the avid x 6’9 mlxf for jerk baits or even 1/8 rooster tails? i know a lot people use this rod for dropshots and things like that. The lure rate for this rod is 1/8 to 1/2. Thanks for any info

I thought the same thing but people act like that rod would be no good for it just trying to see other people’s opinion about it
