  1. I hear ya,it's definitely fun catching those numbers I read on here guys going months without a bite I couldn't do that.
  2. You are right the type of baits, techniques and spots I'm targeting are producing big numbers and small bass so maybe I should do like George Costanza and do that total opposite
  3. Anytime you want let me know I'm in Florida.Ive spent alot of time on this spot got the small ones figured out, best I pulled out of there recently was just a little over 4lbs,but im fishing fast and obviously by my forum name throwing alot of topwater, gonna have to slow it down and go deeper I think
  4. I'm thinking if I'm getting 20 fish a trip and they are1-2lb, big ones must be in that area?
  5. When you go fishing are you targeting big fish or just trying to catch any size fish?Reason I ask I been catching alot of fish 20+fish per trip but they are between 1-2lb fish,so I've decided to change my approach using aka big fish baits big worms, jig and pig,big senkos and swimbaits. Now I do realize my numbers are gonna reduce drastically just wondering if I can accept that. Curious what your guys approach is?Thanks!!
  6. I noticed same thing with teckel sprinker, small bass were short striking it,if a bigger bass is around and he wants it that won't be an issue.
  7. 1)Speed Worm 2)Toad 3)BuzzBuzzbait 4)Big Ez 5)Torpedo 7) Pop R 8)Devil's horse
  8. I've owned Costas, Oakley Wiley x all great sunglasses but for the money you can't beat Calcuttas, alot of saltwater guys around here use them comfortable, great polarization, stylish and cheap!!!And if you scratch them, brake them or lose them it's only $30.They will shock you.
  9. No question about it,some of my biggest bass have come from deep structure.
  10. These are some angry bass I been fishing a long time and never came across bass like this,it's alot of fun.
  11. I been fishing this area and it just blows my mind the strength and speed of these bass I've been catching, they only been in 1-3lb range but OMG not only the fighting power but once I get them in the boat and lip them to get the lure out of there mouth the strength they have it's mind blowing for the size they are, plus the strikes are like they are angry and mad.I was fishing a toad the other day parallel to the shore it was a long cast and I saw this wake flying up to it like it was a shark or tarpon couldn't believe the speed, needless to say it was pretty exciting!!!
  12. I have a 7' Dobyns fury med/heavy it's rated for Max 3/4 ounce I throw 1oz and 11/2 oz flipping weights, with 50lb braid on it and havent experienced any issues pulling those girls out of the slop.I've tried 7'6 and higher flipping sticks and I actually prefer a 7' med heavy stick for flipping for some reason I'm alot more comfortable with it and accurate.
  13. Do yourself a favor and invest in a good flipping stick high speed reel,65-80 lb braid,1-2 oz tungsten flipping weights, heavy duty 4/0 flipping hook, punch skirts, creature baits, bobber stop and like dink said find the thickest stuff you can find and toss it right in there.
  14. Daiwa Tatula's and Fuego's paired with Dobyns fury rods.
  15. My feeling on it is just like anything in life when you work hard for something and figure it out it's more rewarding,if someone tells you where to go ,what bait to use, what depth, what type of presentation, you wont ever learn anything and what's the point of fishing, that's the fun part is trying to figure it out, other wise if it was just about catching I'd probably focus on shark fishing.
  16. Every payday Tackle warehouse order but it's mainly replacing baits I've used,99 % baits I use are soft plastics and more you catch the more you gotta buy which is fine as long as they keep biting I'll keep buying ?
  17. Don't post a fishing report about a spot that's holding alot of fish, everybody in his brother will be there next weekend...?
  18. I've done the expensive route many times over and over.I'm to rough on my sunglasses to keep buying the expensive ones. So I tried the Calcuttas they have good polarization, comfortable and cheap obviously they are not Costa 580G lens quality but good enough for what I'm using them for.
  19. Calcuttas for years
  20. Great video as always Glenn!!Thank you for sharing.
  21. Probably dont want to hear this but it takes years of being on the water to be a successful angler locating fish and mastering techniques, just like anything the more you do the better you will get at it,you are paying your dues right now, your learning right now might not feel like it but you are and you will look back at this time in your fishing journey and remember things that you were doing or not doing.Thats just called experience, you will get there, this is what keeps all of us chasing that green fish.
  22. I dont walk a frog I cast it out there let it sit for a few seconds twitch it a couple times let it sit, reel it in a little, let it sit, twitch, repeat, kinda of like how Glenn did in his hollow body frog video, bass will tell u how they want it. PS I throw in heavy Vegetation
  23. Same here in Florida it's mandatory ?
  24. If I didn't throw a Texas rigged worm and craw I wouldn't catch any bass.
  25. I actually have 4 rods that are Texas rigged. 1) Texas rigged weightless buzzing speed worms 50#braid. 2) Texas rigged 1/8 oz weighted worm when I want slower fall on the edge of grass or pads 50#braid. 3) Texas rigged jigged 1/4 oz with craw to work off bottom or pitch in holes 50#braid. 4) Texas rigged weightless senko on 15#fluoracarbon. ***Here in Florida Texas rigged is essential***
